Only if TB loses to OAK.Cowboys beat PHI next week, and they're in, right?
Dallas win at Philly and Does Tampa have to lose as well or not?Cowboys beat PHI next week, and they're in, right?
Dallas beat Tampa though. Is this for a three way tie scenario?Only if TB loses to OAK.Cowboys beat PHI next week, and they're in, right?
Same record.Dallas beat TB.Dallas has a better conference record. How does TB get in if DAL wins?Only if TB loses to OAK.Cowboys beat PHI next week, and they're in, right?
Fox just said a Dallas win and they are in.Same record.Dallas beat TB.Dallas has a better conference record. How does TB get in if DAL wins?Only if TB loses to OAK.Cowboys beat PHI next week, and they're in, right?
They don't. If Dallas beats Philly they go in.Same record.Dallas beat TB.Dallas has a better conference record. How does TB get in if DAL wins?Only if TB loses to OAK.Cowboys beat PHI next week, and they're in, right?
I don't think so. Both teams are 9-6. If the Cowboys win (regardless of what happens in the Tampa game), they are in. I believe the hold the Head to Head tiebreaker (Isn't that the first tiebreaker?).I might be wrong though.Only if TB loses to OAK.Cowboys beat PHI next week, and they're in, right?
Why does TB need to lose for DAL to get in?NYG and CAR are in and whoever wins tonight gets the #1 seed with the other #2.ATL is in as a WC and ARI is in as the West champ.DAL in if they beat PHI and TB loses.IIRC, MIN holds tiebreaker if they are tied with CHI.
How does TB get the tie breaker?Only if TB loses to OAK.Cowboys beat PHI next week, and they're in, right?
I think this is wrong. Coming into this week, Chicago needed to win twice and Vikings lose twice. Guessing Vikes have the tiebreaker so Bears need to finish a game better.I believe Atlanta has clinched. Chicago can take the division lead with a win over Green Bay.
Thank you. I don't know how TB would jump Dallas after (a) losing to them in the regular season and (b) having a worse conference record. Several here seem to think TB would get in.They don't. If Dallas beats Philly they go in.Same record.Dallas beat TB.Dallas has a better conference record. How does TB get in if DAL wins?Only if TB loses to OAK.Cowboys beat PHI next week, and they're in, right?

According to ESPN, Atlanta has clinched...http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3711069I think this is wrong. Coming into this week, Chicago needed to win twice and Vikings lose twice. FOX said so. Not disagreeing...I'd just like to know for certain how/why they get automatic bid if they beat PHI and tie the others at 10-6.Is Dallas in if there is a 4-way tie between them, Atlanta, Chicago, and Tampa?
Clearly the Yahoo Playoff Calculator that many have been using is not 100% accurate, as they have ATL out in a 4 way tie, and it appears that ATL has already clinched a playoff spot already. Is Dallas in if there is a 4-way tie between them, Atlanta, Chicago, and Tampa?
Well if Minn and Chigao tie Minn wins the division. So Minnesota is out of the scenario. TB beat Chicago, Chicago and Dallas didn't play, and Dallas beat TB. Dallas also has a better conf record than Chicago. So I guess if Dallas wins they are indeed in.WAS is out.PHI is in with a win, a TB loss, a CHI loss, and a MIN loss.Still curious how DAL gets the tie-break at 10-6 if tied with TB, CHI, MIN all 10-6.I guess you are right (or the info that was scrolling on ESPN earlier was wrong). Something was goofy with it as I seen some teams with 15 total games played when I entered week 17 winners.Clearly the Yahoo Playoff Calculator that many have been using is not 100% accurate, as they have ATL out in a 4 way tie, and it appears that ATL has already clinched a playoff spot already. Is Dallas in if there is a 4-way tie between them, Atlanta, Chicago, and Tampa?
Wrong, Bears need to win out and have the Vikings lose next week to get it...I believe Atlanta has clinched. Chicago can take the division lead with a win over Green Bay.
They haven't updated some of the records yet.Something was goofy with it as I seen some teams with 15 total games played when I entered week 17 winners.Clearly the Yahoo Playoff Calculator that many have been using is not 100% accurate, as they have ATL out in a 4 way tie, and it appears that ATL has already clinched a playoff spot already. Is Dallas in if there is a 4-way tie between them, Atlanta, Chicago, and Tampa?
Dallas has the head to head on TB. i believe the next tie breaker is division record, then conference record. Dallas must have the tie breaker on CHI.FOX said so. Not disagreeing...I'd just like to know for certain how/why they get automatic bid if they beat PHI and tie the others at 10-6.Is Dallas in if there is a 4-way tie between them, Atlanta, Chicago, and Tampa?
I don't see how PHI needs MIN to lose - if CHI and TB lose they have 7 losses, MIN gets the division. Not saying it is likely - but needing a MIN loss seems inaccurate.WAS is out.PHI is in with a win, a TB loss, a CHI loss, and a MIN loss.Still curious how DAL gets the tie-break at 10-6 if tied with TB, CHI, MIN all 10-6.
Yeah a 10-6 team make the playoffs? Never seen that one before. If that's true that Dallas is in if they beat Philly, that is just unbelievable.
Why is that unbelievable? If that's true that Dallas is in if they beat Philly, that is just unbelievable.
Oops.Clearly the Yahoo Playoff Calculator that many have been using is not 100% accurate, as they have ATL out in a 4 way tie, and it appears that ATL has already clinched a playoff spot already. Is Dallas in if there is a 4-way tie between them, Atlanta, Chicago, and Tampa?
I might actually favor the Cowboys against either the Vikings or Bears in the first round. The knock on the Cowboys is Romo gets rattled in the big game. But look who's taking the snaps for the other team. Kyle Orton? Tarvaris Jackson? If there's one game where this is not a disadvantage, plus a game where the Cowboys could get over the hump and get some confidence, this might be it.Why is that unbelievable? If that's true that Dallas is in if they beat Philly, that is just unbelievable.
Dude just meant they have 9 lives this year. The record is good enough, but after that melt down yesterday in the last 4 minutes on defense I just figured it was over. Hope they get in cause it is wide open once you make the playoffs.Yeah a 10-6 team make the playoffs? Never seen that one before. If that's true that Dallas is in if they beat Philly, that is just unbelievable.
NYG and CAR are in and whoever wins tonight gets the #1 seed with the other #2.ATL is in as a WC and ARI is in as the West champ.DAL in if they beat PHI and TB loses.IIRC, MIN holds tiebreaker if they are tied with CHI.
That is correct. Also, if Carolina loses it's final 2 and Atlanta beats Stl, Atlanta would win the division and I think get the #2 seed and a bye!
WRONG, IF DALLAS WINS THEY ARE IN PERIOD. THEY DO NOT NEED TB TO LOSENYG and CAR are in and whoever wins tonight gets the #1 seed with the other #2.ATL is in as a WC and ARI is in as the West champ.DAL in if they beat PHI and TB loses.IIRC, MIN holds tiebreaker if they are tied with CHI.That is correct. Also, if Carolina loses it's final 2 and Atlanta beats Stl, Atlanta would win the division and I think get the #2 seed and a bye!
They put up 24 points. The D let us down this week, and that's on Monte. Gruden doesn't do anything with the O. But, I do agree they don't deserve to make the playoffs.Tampa doesnt deserve the playoffs. I have been so disappointed since the Carolina game. It's like they gave up.I almost think it's time for Gruden to go. So tired of having a bad offense year and year. Yes, you can say the offense is not that bad. However, the offense is not explosive at all.The defense has lost gas in the 4th quarter since the Carolina game.
Easy, I'm pretty sure he was just talking about the Falcons and the #2 seed part as he included my post.WRONG, IF DALLAS WINS THEY ARE IN PERIOD.
The Bears needed the Vikings, Buccaneers, Cowboys and Eagles all to lose to stay alive in both the NFC North division race and the hunt for the last wild card playoff spot. All four of them lost. If the Bears win their remaining two games and both the Bucs (vs. Raiders) and Cowboys (at Eagles) lose next week, the Bears win the final wild card spot. If the Bears win their remaining two games and the Vikings (vs. Giants) lose next week, the Bears win the NFC North. If the Bears lose either of their remaining two games, their playoff hopes are dead.
Hey man give us a break. We haven't slept since last night because we thought we were going to be out of the playoff picture. Nobody thought the Chargers were going to win that game. Besides we are busy trying to figure out who to blame. Dallas's heart, Romo's head, Barber's pinky toe, Garret's playcalling, Phillips' leadership, the WRs hands, the backup guard's blocking ability, Gurode's inability to know the snap count, our defenses conditioning, our special team's focus...hmm did I miss anything? We are not 15-0 going into this week so we are pissed off and by golly we are not going to take it anymore!!Easy, I'm pretty sure he was just talking about the Falcons and the #2 seed part as he included my post.WRONG, IF DALLAS WINS THEY ARE IN PERIOD. Thanks. Was wondering about this. For the fellow Bears fans, from Chicago sports
