Cardinals at Seahawks (1 Viewer)

Promote Horton to HC, lose Wiz/Grimm/Childmolester OC, pick up Vick, draft Geno.
Behind that OL?
Yes.Massie has been good for the past 6 weeks. Levi will be back, Sendlein will be healthy. Not a "great" line, but not the current product either. Cards are on 4th center and every position but RG is backup. Massie will be good, he's gotten it together after a rough start.
My point being the team is more than "just a QB" away from being good. Lots of other positions to fill before spending a high pick on a QB. If the backups are that bad, time to trade away and get more bodies.

I disagree. With just an average QB (Kolb) the team was fine even with the patchwork Oline, at least they won games. The D is SB caliber (today an anomaly) just neeed not pure incompetence at QB.

Whisenhunt fired after the game? Not saying he deserves it but you gotta do something. This team has thrown in the towel.
Not saying he deserves it?!!??!?! WTF
Whisenhunt will be coaching immediately next season. The organization played games with his contract, got rid of a lot of SB talent, in general they returned to the AZ Cardinals we all know from the 80s, 90s, and a good chunk of the 00's. I thought Whis might jump ship 2 years ago but he stuck with it, I have confidence he can take over a team with a decent QB situation and go pretty far. I think he is a decent coach, you don't, so be it. He took a team I would consider in the Tampa Bay lore of losers in the past 25-30 years and leads them to the Super Bowl and actually winning in the 4th Q, came that close. Teams will be lining up to interview him.
You couldn't be more wrong. He has full control over personell, this is 1000% on him. Ownership has forked out money, gotten the players and QBs he wanted and this is the final product. Warner took this team to the SB, not Wiz...this is fact.
Yeah, MOP you get credit for some awesome insight on matchups and projections that I like to read up on, but this is a miss to me. I do have the benefit of knowing a little about what goes on in the locker and on the practice field and Wiz is clueless on how to prepare a team, evaluate a team, and the worst ever at communicating to a team. He will not be successful as the head coach anywhere in the NFL IMO

Why punt down by 51? I don't understand why teams punt at all when they are already losing big. Just go for it.

Interesting that Caroll is still airing it out. I don't mind teams doing that but I know some players/teams take objection with it. Considering they play twice a year it's a risky proposition.

You know you've got the disease bad when you're watching the end of a 51-0 game just to see if Daryl Washington or Brandon Mebane get tackles.

I didnt catch what Dockett did last week.. enlighten me
Late in the game when the D was supposed to let their opponent score so the Cards could get the ball back (down by 8) and he wouldn't go along with it. Then he got into it with Rhodes and spat in his face. Got fined $200K by the team. Dunno if you're question is shtick or not, but that's the Reader's Digest version.

Both Rhodes and Dockett deny the spitting, but who really knows. Dockett didn't want to lay down, he wanted to save that for this week.

And there's 58. Don't think these teams like each other very much. :lmao: -QG
A lot of bad blood has passed between these two. The earliest I remember was Dockett using Hass' throat to push himself up by the elbow (and none of the Hawks OL thumped him) and ever since then it's been contentious it seems.

Cards have dominated the Hawks under Wiz (one of the few teams he's had good success against), but that looks to be changing, even last game of the year last year was nasty.

What a draft showing today, and Wilson was the least respectable of the group.

Wilson - didn't need anything from him today

Wagner - pick, lotsa tackles

Irvin - sack and pressure

Turbin - 100+ yards

Lane - forced fumble I think

Sweezy - got some time and didn't take no guff from those desert rats
