Cardinals D (1 Viewer)

The return of Karlos Dansby to the Cardinals defense corresponded with the best defensive stand against the run in the modern NFL era.

Per rotoworld:

The Cardinals defense held the Lions to -18 yards on the ground on eight carries last week to set a modern NFL record for fewest rushing yards in a game. The Lions struggled early with the ground game and then after falling behind by 21 points in the second half, they ran only three times after halftime including a reverse that went for minus -15 yards. The Lions will face another tough test against the Giants stout run defense in Week 11.

There appears to be substantial evidence (this game not withstanding) to suggest the Cardinal defense is vastly improved.

I think the Cards D is improved, but this has alot to do with the inept running game of Detroit and the limited times they ran. One of those rushing attempts was a Kitna fumble recovery for no gain, so actuall they only had 7 attempts.
