Cards Regular Season Sold Out

Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that tickets for the regular season home game vs. Detroit (Nov. 19) have sold out.

As a result, tickets for all eight regular season home games in the inaugural season at Cardinals Stadium have completely been sold out. Also sold out is the stadium’s grand opening event, the August 12 preseason game vs. the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

A limited number of tickets remain for the preseason game vs. Denver (August 31).

Fans can purchase tickets to the Denver preseason game (Aug. 31) on-line at http://www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 480-784-4444. They are also available in person at participating Arizona Ticketmaster ticket centers and the Cardinals Training Facility in Tempe.

Single-game tickets went on sale last Saturday and six games sold out by the close of business that day while two other games sold out by Tuesday morning.
Story on Cardinals HomepageHell has officially frozen over. The Cardinals have not had a home blackout lifted (i.e. a sellout) since 2000, except for the league-wide lift of the blackout after 9/11.

Good time to be a Cards fan. I'll be at the opener and the Seattle game.

So...if a guy wanted to go to one of the home games, are there very many places that re sell tickets other than scalpers? Has anyone used stubhub or a similar service?

So did Seattle.

Seahawks | Regular season tickets sold out

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports the Seattle Seahawks sold out all remaining single-game tickets for the regular season in only 45 minutes.

The signing of Edge and drafting of Leinart have already paid for themselves.

I wonder how many of these sold seats are folks from LA.

The valley has a lot of transplants so its possible. It should be noted though that the majority of tickets sold, about 85% sold, went to season ticket holders. Single game tickets were only made available to people living within the state of Arizona. While there will certainlly be some fans of the opponent at every game (as with all NFL Teams) the bad old days where the majority of the crowd was rooting for Cowboys, Packers, Raiders, etc. are likely in the past.On a side note, I met Edgerrin James today. He did an autograph signing at a Sam's club near my house. Seemed like a real nice guy.

I got 8 for KC and 8 for Denver the morning single gamers went on sale last week. Dallas and Chicago were impossible to get. Gone in minutes!

It's been my experience that there is very little difference between StubHub and the scalpers.

I've used both stubhub and razorgator to buy tickets. Can't argue with someone else's "experience" (prior post), but personally I prefer to use one of the services rather than a scalper -- you know the tickets are real, you have them in hand well ahead of the game, and you can use a credit card to buy them. With a scalper, there's always that little bit of doubt about the validity of the ticket, you typically are buying them within an hour or two of kickoff, and I kinda doubt that you'll be using a cc.

I can say it's a sellers market. I just unloaded a pair of Pittsburgh tickets on ebay today for 2 times face value.

Not sure if other teams are doing this, but this year the Cardinals are allowing season ticket holders to manage their tickets online. They have an interface where you can actually email tickets to "friends" (or whomever) you would like to give your tickets to.

Congrats Cards fans

Should be hearing the same thing (full season sellout) out of New Orleans within the next week or so. They just announced last week that there will be no single game ticket sales at all.

re: other teams managing season tickets online. I suspect, most, if not all, teams are setup so their ticket holders can. From personal experience, Saint season ticket holders have been able to for several years now.

I wish I would have bought every empty field North of I-10 before I left the valley...man there wasn't anything in that area when I left 5 years ago.

Every Steelers game is like this. The other Cards games should be available fairly cheap on eBay.

Funny I moved from Gopher country to the valley 5 years ago. I wish I had bought it when I got here.
