Assuming that Steve Smith is gone, who is the Carolina Panther receiver to own?

Does it really matter until they get a decent QB? I'm thinking the WR to have for this team isn't on the roster yet. LaFell has some talent but his ceiling is a WR #2 and like I said, it it doesn't matter who the best WR is on this team if they don't have a QB. What they currently have on their roster doesn't qualify.
