Doing several mocks for my 12 team redraft league. Chase will go in the top four for sure, but in our league, there will be a run on running backs. Saquon, Bijan likely. The owner at #4 owned Gibbs last year and loved him. Guessing he takes him. That leaves my decision as either Lamb, Jefferson or Henry. I’m leaning Henry. Had him last year and he was a monster. Sure he has age and miles but I see zero sign of slowing down and with Jackson taking attention I think he’s unstoppable in that offense.

I like roster construction better taking the stud RB first. It gives me plenty of options with the second and third pick. I can go for another running back if Chase Brown or Josh Jacobs or even Kyren Williams fall. I can go wide receiver with the lights of an AJ Brown or even an elite QB. If I don’t take a running back first and there is a run I may have to reach as I think the workhorses are all gone by round 4. After that, it is all split back fields, which I don’t mind for my RB3or RB4 but not as a starter. But the main reason I’m thinking going RB in the first is I love the wide receiver value in rounds 4-9. Even in a 3WR start league I feel I can be fine waiting until around four getting my first one.

We are not TE mandatory so I didn’t comment on that position.

health is the only reason Henry wouldnt be a top 5 RB. most others there are situation, team quality etc... you have to worry about on top of health. i dont hate henry. I dont think you can go wrogn with lamb or JJetta though. but henry offers rb1 upside which is huge (full disclosure, i drafted gibbs and henry at the end of the 1st early 2nd and still didnt make playoffs so that's what my advice is worth)

He won’t be in our league. Guaranteed. RB’s are coveted. He’ll go 7 at the latest if I don’t take him at 5. I love CeeDee too. I’m fine with either. If I’m guaranteed to get Chase Brown, Josh Jacobs or Kyren on the way back I’m OK with it. One should be there. It gets bare after that to me. I don’t want Conner or Walker as my RB1
