CBSportsline's Waiver system question (1 Viewer)

burd

Footballguy
writing up some rules for my FF league that i moved to CBS and have a question about waivers that hopefully someone can answer for me.

I chose Wednesday as my waiver deadline w/ free agency starting right after. Does anyone know what time on Wednesday the deadline would be and then when free agency would start?

I was able to chose the deadline date and time on another site but i don't see the option to choose the time.

I think it is 2am.My league runs the waivers on Tuesday night. Now last season waiver moves were made at almost the same time each week - around 1:45am, but technically it occurs on Wednesday. Thereafter it is a free for all. We have a couple of night owls in our league who usually add/drop around 2:30am on the Wednesday after waivers ran - so essentially about 45 minutes later.Hope that helps.

thanks for the info ....

im surprised that CBS doesnt have an option to choose the waiver deadline or free agency start time. I used a free site last year and this option was available. Not a huge deal, but those night owls definitely get to take advantage of being first in line to grab any coveted FA.

Maybe something CBS should think about adding for next year ... choosing a waiver deadline that's fair for everyone is a nice option. we had FA starting at 9pm and there was a lot of activity right from the get-go.

not sure about FF leagues there burd.............but in their setup for baseball leagues, if the FAAB/waivers have to be "commissioner approved", THEN it lets you set the time that it runs (again, different sport and FAAB vs waivers, but I saw others that had that problems where I didn't and that was the reason for the difference)
