They were offering a refund or discount for this year because of last year's goof-ups. Will a discount code work with the 1/2 off discount my league has allready accepted?

CBS Sportsline should have it up on your league's homepage (if you are commish) that even if you have already selected the 50% discount they will also honor any promotional codes in addition to their discount. This is visible to me and I'm commish.You just need to wait for a code to pop up somewhere, before paying.

Anyone having trouble accessing their Commish site at Sportsline?
Yep.....lots of trouble. I tried to go there yesterday to quote their statement that I was mentioning in my earlier post, but the site kept trying to re-load over and over again. That was yesterday. Today is even worse.My best guess is that they are trying to get things up and running for this year as June is annually that time for them. Here's hoping they can get through it quickly, as it will just fuel the fire of previously irate members if they cannot. I was absolutely disgusted with their performance last year and my patience is already thin with them. Unfortunately for me, as commish, my league mates chose to stick with them and accept the discount for '07. My gut says we will get what we pay for. Oh well.....

I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, but why do people continue to stay with services that continue to provide problems year after year? If a service doesn't do a good job, it's going to take more than half off to get me to stay with them, especially when all that 50% off does is put their price in the same range as other services.
On a side note, someone should put together a comparison of all the services out there, including their price and the essentials of what they offer. Maybe its been done here but I am too lazy to search, and I am extremely happy with the service I use. I just think it would be interesting to see a side-by-side comparison.

It's dumb but we stick with Sportsline because it contains all of our league records and smack talk for the last 6 years. It's fun to go back and show someone an old post where they were pimping Charles Rogers as the second coming of Jerry Rice. Plus, my guys are too lazy to learn how to navigate a new website. I actually have to resend a couple of them their passwords every year because they always forget them.

We've really never had any issues with Sportsline and having used at least 3 different services I really like CBS the best, thus we stay with them. I would really love to have a code by the end of June to save a few bucks though. Hopefully there will be one.

We've been using CBS for a long, long time and any mention of going to something else was immediately shot down in league votes because of it's ease of use and everyone's familiarity with it. Last year they mucked up the interface so bad that there was a lot of grumbling and talk of moving to another site for this season. I have a feeling we may be moving on...

If they muck up thier Football site like they mucked up their Baseball site this season, we may be moving on as well. Baseball interface was a complete overhaul!
