Chad Spann Makes Active Roster (1 Viewer)

From Chad Spann's Facebook

and..........active
After bouncing around with the Colts and Buccaneers Spann seems to have stuck with the Steelers (at least for the time being). With Mendenhall out for the playoffs people are talking about Isaac Redman, Baron Batch, and even John Clay getting more opportunities. Chad Spann has gone under the radar. Now that he's made the active lineup he's one to keep an eye on. I haven't found any articles or even an official news posting on this, but I'll update with any news I find. I'm :banned: on Spann's chances.

Baron Batch has been on IR since the preseason, otherwise there would be no need for Spann

:goodposting: Mentioned in another thread:Spann's future is more than likely going to be with another team, not the Steelers (barring a freakish performance in playoffs). This is due to PIT having Mendenhall, Redman, Moore, Dwyer, B. Batch (got injured before season but was pre-season standout), and Clay ahead of Spann.

I would be shocked if he recieved a single carry, even if Moore is out (in which case, he would be inactive).

Has there ever been a player in NFL history who was never on an active roster during the regular season, yet appeared in a playoff game?
