I'm the Commish of this league.

Neither are my team.

Championship game......

Winner.....$1200

Loser ......$ 400

Two contestants....

Team #1....Nine years in league...1st championship appearance.

Team #2....Eight years in league..3rd championship appearance....2 previous championship losses.

All owners of both teams....class acts. All deserve to win.

League rules:

RB....100 offensive yards= 2pts.

Team #2 owns: E. James.

E. James = 97 offesnsive yards.

E. James gets 3 more yards = 2 more points for Team #2

Final score:

Team #1....40

Team #2....39

I won our league's title in 2000.

We were tied heading into Monday night and the other team had the tiebreaker. The only player either of us had going was he had Frank Wycheck and our league doesn't even require you start a TE.

Wycheck fumbled for a -1 on Christmas Night. I won 76-75.

Last seasons championship game I use W Parker(against Baltimore,so not the wisest decision to begin with)and he fumbles inside the 5 yard line of the Ravens. That's -2 pts for me and I lose by 1.7.

Happier times in this years championship game....I'm up by 46 pts and I have Tomlinson tonight and he has Gates.

I'm still bitter about a 1999 Dorsey Levens fumble that contributed to a one-point championship game loss. Sucks every time.

Such is life unfortunately in fantasy. In my longest running $$$ league, I went 14-0 (first team in our 13 year league history to do so) and then proceeded to lose the semis AND the 3rd place game :goodposting:

But in our Footballguys staff league I made the playoffs as the wild card (4 teams out of 12) and beat the 13-1 top seed (Brady + Tomlinson) last week and then went on to win the title; despite starting the season 1-5.

I figure you take the good with the bad. But this is exactly why I do lots of leagues. It would be too painful to be in one or two leagues and suffer a bad beat year in, year out.

In the inagural season of my fantasy league back in 1995 I had a very comfortable lead going into the Monday night game. He had two guys left.

Steve Young throws for 425 yards, passes for 3 touchdowns and rushes for another while Jerry Rice catches 14 balls for 289 yards and 3 touchdowns and I lose by 4 points!
