**Chargers at Giants**(+6.5, 44) 1:00 Jaxson Dart's 1st Start (7 Viewers)

I am excited about getting to see Jaxson Dart get his first NFL start, I hope he does well even if they lose the game and he improves the offense over all
He will also have a rookie RB lining up behind him.

The Schoen/Daboll countdown is on The Big Apple
I think Dart plays well in his first start
But LA should control both sides of the ball
And grind out a win...

Chargers need to fix the problems they've been having in the secondary letting guys repeatedly get behind the coverage. They've been lucky the last 3 weeks that QBs haven't been able to make the throws. They should have safety Molden back this week, hopefully he makes a difference. Otherwise I imagine Neighbors will be running free back there once or twice.

Chargers offensive line is in bad shape. Could be a problem if the defensive front four performs like people think they should. I'm hoping the Chargers are already planning on short routes to get the ball out quick, otherwise this could be a tough game for Herbert. Similarly, the run blocking is bad, I know the Chargers would like to run it, I just don't know that they'll have a ton of success unless Hampton can get himself to the second level.

This screams blowout to me. I don't think Dart is ready at all, and the Chargers are a rough 1st game. I do think Skattebo could have some success, particularly as a pass catcher, but I have some concerns this is a 31-10 type game. I think if NY was absolutely done with Russ, this should have been a Winston start.

I think the Charges do just about whatever they want on offense. Giants pass rush is scary, but they can't cover, so expect a lot of quick hitters to McConkey (a prime buy low) and Allen. I think Hampton could have some success as well, especially late as I think the Giants D wears down as the Chargers dink and dunk their way to long drives, while the Giants have a lot of 3 and outs.

Chargers cover.
