Cheatsheet Question (1 Viewer)

I don't want to turn this into a WDIS thread so I am not naming players names.

When looking at the cheatsheets who do you value more?

The 12th best WR or the 13th best RB?

I can't decide whether to start my 3rd WR which is rated 12th best on the custom cheatsheets or my 2nd RB which is rated 13th on my custom cheatsheets.

Where do you stand? Do you value RBs more because they will touch the ball more or do you simply go by the rankings?

TIA

I don't think you can just look at the two rankings and try to pick one based on that. i'd have to look at matchups and projections beyond just 12th RB or 13th WR.

I think it depends on the rest of your team, and in some cases, your opponent's. I'd be more inclined to start the WR if I have the inferior team and need to go for the WR upside. If I'm close in strength or better than my opponent, I'll probably lean toward the RB. Lots of factors go into this decision such as type of league, ppr scoring (even though 1 ppr is factored in maybe the WR gets the nod), etc.

When dealing with starting RBs in the top 16, I'd always start a RB over a WR if they were closely ranked. Where it becomes difficult is if you are looking at the 25th ranked RB versus the 20th ranked WR. Ten you have to look at the matchups.

If this question was about the 20th RB vs the 19th ranked receiver it would be an easier decision as the RB20 is usually a real bum, so in that case I go wth a sllightly higher ranked receiver as they ahve a better chance at TD's.. the 12th ranked RB is usually a solid option and would be hard to bench
