What's CBT? And what are should statements?
Should statements are associated with negative thinking. These create stress. Something should be like this but it isn't, which creates excessive worry and stress. Cbt teaches you how to control your thoughts. It all begins with a thought that then turns to feelings. Fix the thought and your mood improves. Very effective type of therapy for mood disorders like depression and anxiety.
