Chicago Team D (1 Viewer)

I am considering dropping them for the Titans but I went to the custom rankings and after this week they think the Bears put up 20 the last 2 weeks compared to 13 for the Titans.

The bears play Min this week, GB the following and finish with NO. These are all good offensive teams? They only scored 3 pts last week against washington?

What are others doing with the bears D? Starting? Holding? Dropping?

With the Hestor factor, you MUST give Chicago an above average ranking. For fantasy purposes anyway.

Teams don't usually kick to him, and I only get points if he scores. With the teams they are playing I think the Dgives up 24+ points to all 3.

As a Bears homer and a defense first person I would rather watch the Bears pitch a defensive shutout than put up 60 points offensively. Unfortunately injuries and offensive woes have crippled this unit and this stud unit was no longer a must start for me around week 6 or 7. Without Hester's 5 return TD's this is a bottom feeder D at best.

I have the Washington D and the Chicago D. I am benching the Chicago D this week as I expect them to get about 30 points pinned on them. I think Orton will not only give the Vikes great field position all day but expect a gimme TD on a turnover. Secondly there is no way the Bears can stop the Vikes running game. Third, teams seem to be kicking away from Hester since the Chicago O seems incapable of capitalizing on great field position even with the starting QB at the helm. Don't forget earlier in the year Hester torched Minny for a receiving TD and a return TD. I find it hard to believe the Vikes will let Hester burn them again.

This is Childress we're talking about here, who knows what that man is thinking.

 :lmao: :lmao: That's the great thing about the NFC North. No matter how crappy your team is at least 2 other teams in the division has equally fatal flaws that make you feel better about your own bottom-feeder.

Whats your take on the Bears vs the Packers and Saints? More of the same?

If Green Bay is locked into their playoff position after this week the Chicago game means nothing to them. In that case I can see the Bears being an emergency start, but not one I would expect great points from. If the Pack still has a chance to overtake Dallas the Bears are not a good play.

Against the Saints, I think they are a decent play. Anytime you take a streaky dome team like the Saints and drop them into Soldier Field in late December playing out a meaningless game without their 2 opening day RB's it's not a bad situation. I will probably be playing them here.

Edited to add: If it were me I would pick up the Titans. The KC and Jets games are great match-ups and in week 17 I doubt Indy starters play more than 1/2, if that.
