Chiefs vs Cards (1 Viewer)

Sorta sucks that there's a kicker battle and they want to see so much of them. I'd have liked to see if the OL could've got a push on a 4th and three right there.

First play Warner bomb to Boldin. Incomplete...not a lot of seperation.

Edge stuffed....and then Warner gets away with what could have been an interception.

3 and out.

Matt takes a breath.

Chiefs OL not doing much in the running game so far. Pass protecting well, though. LT Herb Taylor has been talked up a little, but he's undersized and not powerful.

Dorsey completely stuffing the running game, despite being double-teamed, and because of that Turk McBride beats Levi Brown.

Some missed tackles, though.

LJ looking good despite so-so blocking. Nine carries, 46 yards. Two consecutive nice runs.

Kolby Smith comes in and gashes the Cards for 15 more.

Mike Cox looks like a legit fullback. Real good blocker and he can catch, too.

That'd be a real bonus for LJ. He hasn't had one since T-Rich in his prime.

LJ still looking hungry. He wants to score. 11 car., 58 yards.

Leinart looks terrible. He can barely even complete a pass.

AZ will be making a monumental mistake by starting him over Warner this year.

I dropped him like a hot potato last year after it become plain to me that this kid looks lost..................and this is a dynasty league.

not sure you kids are watching the same game as i did.i was ready to hand the job to warner 12 hours ago, but it's leinart's job to lose and he didn't do it. nothing spectacular from either qb, but if you are looking for 2008 production, advantage leinart.

Neither was "spectacular," but Warner was a lot closer to it than Leinart. He actually completed some passes where the ball was thrown further than 10-12 yards, and this was against first-teamers -- including Dorsey and Turk McBride, who were both all over Warner, as opposed to zero pressure on Leinart -- not a combination of second- and third-teamers. Book it: Warner scores more fantasy points this year than Leinart, just like last year.

did leinart get to play with the 1st team OL & skill position players?

if leinart hadn't gotten injured last season there is a good chance warner wouldn't have had the production he did...

if leinart isn't re-injured, he should have the edge... i do think he could play his way out of that spot, but i'm not necessarily expecting it like some seem to be doing here...

It's all politics. Warner is simply a much, much better QB at this point. If the Cardinals want to win now -- which they could in that division -- they'd be morons to Leinart.
