Chris Brown to the Texans ??? (1 Viewer)

Texans could be interested in Brown Published Mon Oct 16 12:32:00 p.m. CT 2006

(Rotoworld) The Texans are a logical destination for Chris Brown if the Titans try to deal him.

Impact: Brown has run in zone blocking schemes before and Houston is desperate, but we doubt Tennnessee would bother dealing him. As NFL Network analyst Adam Shefter pointed out, the Titans will get a high compensatory pick if Brown leaves via free agency anyway.

I hope so being a texan fan, he couldnt be no worse than fatazz Dayne or Gado.

I picked Brown up yesterday morning for the off chance he got dealt by Tuesday. Unfortunately when trying to think of potential destinations, Houston was the only one that made sense. Oh well, I'd take it. :desperate:

they were saying him or betts on the radio yesterday
on the radio where? 610 in htown?Betts would be good, but Brown would be great for the Texans. I just don't know if the Titans would trade them to a divisional rival doormat.

Why not? It's not like Brown is going to help the Texans edge out the Titans for the division crown this year. And there's no way to prevent him from going there in the offseason if they want him.

As highly unlikely their playoff chances are, the Titans are not going to worsen them by sending their 2006 playbook to a division rival...Not this year.

Another possibility might be the Lions - IF they feel that they would be rushing Calhoun.

Shawn Bryson is likely out for a while - looks like he will have to have knee surgery, and Schlesinger (even if they wanted to split time between he and Calhoun) has a hamstring injury which was supposed to be looked at today.

Not that they are going anywhere, but with Kevin Jones suffering a hip pointer (even though he returned to the game) they might want a backup.
