CBS Sports reports Tennessee Titans FB Ahmard Hall said teams putting are 8-9 in the box to stop RB Chris Johnson in the run game and also “double-covering him the whole time in the passing game.” Johnson has 12 receptions for just 38 yards through four games.
What a novel idea. Who would have thought that with no one at the QB position, you should just try and stop their only player. Only took the about 1 year to figure it out. Johnson, against well coached defenses, can only now hope for that breakthrough at the LOS and take it to the hosue. He will get beat up this year.
