In the rookie poll 1.11 Christian Kirk and DJ Moore have been tied neck and neck.

Who do you think is the better option between these two players in a PPR format?

Maybe the poll will resolve itself in the other poll, but if not, then hopefully this can break the tie. Discussion a debate welcome.

Flip a coin.  Hate to have to live on the difference between them.  Two pretty damned talented guys who personally I think will both succeed and who both have enough game to become legit WR1s.  The big question, as with all rookies no matter how impressive the college resumes and measureables, is will their talent translate at the next level.

ETA - can you not just enter them interchangeably as, say, 11(tie) for each player and then go to 13?

I like both players, but picked Moore because I think he’s a little less destination dependent. I like Kirk with a qb that can extend the play- He seems to excel when the play breaks down. So Kirk in Baltimore doesn’t excite me, but Kirk in carolina would.

I do note that there seems to be a preference for Moore in the standard scoring poll.

Do people think Moore will score more TD?

Do people think Kirk will have more receptions?

I'm not on the DJ Moore bandwagon but I think he can be solid.  Kirk on the other hand I believe will be special if given opportunities to be.  Designed screens, creating space for him to work.  I vote Kirk.  Neither of which should be 1st round rookie picks IMO.

Huh.  I like Kirk with a QB who is accurate and can oversee a passing-heavy offense.  That rules out Carolina.  But that's just me.

You could skip the PPR vote.
I suppose that would be another way to go about it.

The results of the run off poll ended up being different than the results on the poll. Some people voted for Kirk in the primary poll and he won while DJ Moore vs Kirk is almost 4 to 1 in favor of Moore.

Does not compute, unless of course you expect that Kirk (likely to be selected in first 45 picks of NFL draft) won’t be given a legitimate opportunity to produce?

I play 10 team leagues with 2QB 2TE mostly so that swings it a bit.  Even without the QB's Kirk would be my #13 player.  I don't see them making immediate impact for fantasy purposes.  Kirk will start his career similar to Steve Smith did, special teams mostly, returning kicks, and then they'll realize he can be good when given opportunity, probably a little too late.  RB is a much safer bet for 1st round picks, or TE although the learning curve is steeper.  I just think it will be a year before we realize what these WR's will be, not just him, but any of the WR's this year.  Go with where the strength of the draft, and take your favorite WR a little later in hopes the pan out.  But the WR's are not that good.  Sure a couple of these WR's might produce, and I have my favorites out of the bunch, but I won't be spending a 1st on a WR at all.  Feel free to take your shot, but they're not nearly as good as JuJu or Mike Williams last year who were mid-late 1st round picks in rookie drafts.

If we fast forward to 2019 and pretend none of the WR's did much in 2018 most people will dump their value down.  If they don't produce a 600+ yard 4 TD year minimum they'll be viewed as an early 2nd trade target in 2019, so that's where I value the WR's of this year.

I didnt vote but did see the voting results.  Really, I think both players are great players with potential for fantasy superstar.  But it all hinges on what team each of them being drafted to... One thing that should be work in their favor is their high character and their supreme work ethnic.  So you can't go wrong by choosing one of them.  I know I'll be looking either one of them at my low 1st round pick or high 2nd round pick.

They have similar size, but Moore has a lot more athleticism based on measurables, confirmed on tape.

Moore makes an obvious choice.
