My wife's birthday is the 26th. She has insisted her entire life on her birthday being separate and no one is to wrap anything in Christmas paper. At least I never forget. Our anniversary is two days before my birthday. I have it easy.

Mine is the 27th so i know what you mean. My oldest daughter's is the 24th. We do our best to celebrate on that day and keep it somewhat seperate.

January 2 Birthday here, when I did get a present it was always a Christmas present that they held back.

My birthday was yesterday too. Totally agree with how bad the timing is. Don't forget about the weather. When I was driving my daughter yesterday, I told her I didn't remember a birthday that I actually saw the sun and yesterday was blue skies and low 60s! I even wore flip flops. Amazing.

And, don't forget Dec 22 is the second darkest day of the year (due to winter solstice).

Oh and as a side note crossed the 80k post mark. Wow when I started posting here I had no idea I would still be here all these years later. I hope most of those have been worth reading and maybe even entertained on occasion. Thanks for putting up with me all these years.
