Is there any chance that Spiller's official designation gets moved to WR? I'm in a league that allows you to keep a player at a designation for as long as you like once he's been moved (example - I have Kiwi as a DL for as long as I want).

As long as he's being used as he is now, what's his value long term?

His value is basically at its basement right now (and for the next month). If Jackson gets run down or injured, his value goes up. He's playing well as a wideout. With his speed, its just a matter of time until he breaks one.

Donald Jones will probably be back in 2-3 weeks and Spiller will see less time at the WR spot. The Bills won't change his designation from RB.

With Ingram out and Beanie probably out this week I'm so desperate for a RB3 I'm giving serious consideration to Spiller. He did a good job at WR and the Bills seem enamored with the idea of using him there as a way to get him the ball.

The combination of injuries and bye weeks really sucks.

But is Donald Jones coming back THIS WEEK?I was thinking of using Spiller (over Helu and Battle). It may be a sneaky good play. He could bust a receiving TD. But if Donald Jones is back, then maybe not so much.Really I was just hanging on to Spiller b/c the FJax owner didn't bother to cuff him and I figured why not roster a former top 5 pick who's backing up the #1 rusher in fantasy football. But like you said, with byes and injuries, now all of the sudden, starting Spiller even with FJax getting all the carries still seems tempting.

He's not expected back. He hasn't practiced this week so I would think he's doubtful to play Sunday.
