Depends on the base. Generally send it on a strong defensive grouping that's out of range of Infernos. Immediately back them up with a few archers to clear out the buildings left over. Generally one group to cripple one side of the base and maximize heal usage. You want to try to follow the hogs with barch support as they path through the base and occupy defenses. Takes some practice so you don't overuse troops backing them up.If I do split them, I target wiz towers protecting resources.

Generally for CC troops that you can't easily suicide loon. If you need the loot bonus, there are times a zap can also get you from 49 to 50% when your loonion fizzles earlier than you expected. In that case, one zap on a AQ or BK pedestal is worth 100k/100k/500

I rolled with similar to Acer, but I generally didn't pack a heal:

22/55 with 3 rage 1 zap

or lavaloon: 2 hounds, 22 loons, 25 minions (same spell comp)

your biggest obstacle will be infernos. I base my decision on them. I usually aim for 50 and DE. Sometimes you have to sacrafice. Sometimes you can get it all.

I will try to hop over to FBGs if/when there's an opening between Quattro wars.

Right before I posted this I found an abandoned TH9 base. Such a game changer. I was getting down to like 100k elixir, but just got 270k elixir + the 100k war bonus (not to menion 2k DE and whatever gold). Great stuff.

But yeah so far seems like 80-90% TH10's and I have not figured out how to fight inferno towers yet. I guess this is how you learn.

Good point. But rarely do we kick up any good retro-pron conversations in clan chat. Even in FBGS when half of us are raiding under the influence on a Friday night.

successful scout imo is show where the big bombs are, what is in the cc, and show where the teslas are. i'm not sure skele location is all that important. hogs and loons are best at this so combination of hogs,loons and giants are what i've used in the past but it's not exactly cheap. u may be able to accomplish this with cheaper setup depending on the base setup too of course. not advocating u give up ur attack to scout, but answering the last part of ur question.

and i wouldn't feel that its a waste to go down further to pickup 3 stars if it means hitting a base that otherwise would not be 3 starred by one of our lower level base. sometimes it's just the nature of the matchup. maybe wait it out if u can afford the time and see how the lower levels fare and help out there. i think that'll be my plan for at least one of my attacks for this tough matchup (i'm assuming u're in fbgs, havnt logged in today.)

Yea every now and then. Finished 5th war yesterday.edit- if you guys want to use some of them for boog war now (anytime in the next couple weeks) would be a convinient time to do it.

You tend to not want to hit bases where the anti air covers eachother. This is because what tends to happen is the hounds take fire from things that wouldn't otherwise be shooting at your loons so you end up wasting some of the health points of the hounds. There are other deployment pattern options, but these are risky. Mainly you do a one for one trade with each hound at each anti air with backing loons. Timing is tricky though.

IF you are in this situation and you can find a heavily covered anti air that is not also covered by a wizard tower then you usually see the pros stack all four hounds on top of eachother right at the AA in question and heal it. This buys enough time for the skulls to show up even without a rage spell and then you can rage to the rest of the AA. But this takes a special base.

You don't have to kick him, he would have just sat out if he was the lowest by trophy count (that is assuming I am reading this right)

Proposing a slight schedule change. We are getting smoked on matchups. Need to start the saturday search at noon. 10 minutes a pop. If you start it see it through the 9 min and restart it or kill it. Someone just keep hitting it 9 min at a time till we get one. It might take till 6pm to get a matchup anyways. It's clear the jokes on us for the matchups we are getting that are longer than 10 min.

Comparing this war and last one. Right now they are up 30 with 2 more attacks in than us with 12 max attacks in the bag. At this point with the last guys we were down like 11 and they had like 8 max attacks left and they used them fairly early in the morning and blew them. Then 3 of their max guys didn't show.

We tried to push for 3s in the TH9 ranks and got exactly 2. From TH10s. This is by far the largest mismatch we've faced from the perspective of the strength of the TH9.

I'm almost after this week ready to just pack it in for a bit. We simply aren't competitive anymore and it's going to run people off if we keep pushing hard into battles that are hopeless.

Actually I'll make this available to all clans for 2 weeks, my wife's out of town for that long so I have buckets of time to kill. Most have upgraded CC (15 spots) other than that, expect futility.

Nice cheap, fast build. This is what I'm looking for.

To me, expensive and time consuming but I understand everyone has a different style. I typically only raid at night and on the weekends so I try to get in as many as possible with my limited time. Skulls make it easy but #### me they take forever to build and you have to next a bajillion times to find a super base that will cover the cost of the army and put some jingle in your elixir storage.

I also know we're talking Masters so it's a different league but doc seems to do well barching there.
