Tenative cornhole with Shammy and myself taking form Friday lunch downtown. Yank i know is Dallas proper and shot him a pm. Jason is Fort Worth based IIRC. Can't remember anyone else local, but all are welcome.

What the hell do you put in a CC now? Pretty much have to go hound and if you run into a good air clan just tip your hat and take the beating? Drags are now useless other than the time it takes to poison them.

Dragon4

Minion - max

Golem - max

Wallbreaker - max

I want to keep pouring my DE into heroes right now, so I'm leaning to zap or dragon. Wondering just how interesting dragons are going to become, so leaning that way. Anyone else have thoughts?
Easy, dragon and don't look back. There is a certain eloquence to a high level dragon attack and with the update I'm thinking the lighting/quake combo is going to be the attack du jour for a while.

I tested this attack in a regular raid. My lvl1 EQ did 14% damage to a pair of lvl7 AD's, I then zapped each twice with lvl5 lightening. Both had a sliver of health left, as expected. I sent a hound toward each AD, backed by skulls. What I forgot was that hounds do damage upon bursting. So both AD's were destroyed and I was left with pups and skulls.I need to get lvl2 EQ for this attack to work properly.

They still get killed as easy as drags and provide no air defense. What is the benefit over a hound?

The poison spell has been a disaster from the start. It has succeeded in nothing aside from eliminating an interesting facet of the game. The game was better without it.

Faster so harder to hit. I really don't know. An all archer cc might be the play. Most are going to try a cheap lure and expect drag. Either way cleanup attacks are going to have no trouble one way or other.

Not sure if this is something culdeus posted in 1985 or not, but with EQ you can spread your four spells out as long as they overlap on the specific walls you want to bring down.

Most of the time you're probably looking to take out several sections at once, so you have to drop all four on the same spot, but if not you could affect a lot more buildings and defensive structures with the full "first spell" damage total by having them overlap only on the specific piece you're trying to bring down.

You could also avoid bringing down a wall segment adjacent to one you want to bring down by doing the same thing.

I read a thread on supercell's site about two weeks ago with someone that had this happening. The enemy bottom five hit their top ten with a single barb then just quit. Most of the replies suggested its a new mod but I can't find that thread anymore.

This could quite possibly be true! :unsure:

It'll be interesting to see if NFL Sundays cause our weekend war to be quite limp. I know I for one didn't log in much even when the decisions were being made on initial attacks. I wanted to get my work done so I could watch football. At this point, I probably won't use either attack as I am barely having time at work to grab my food and post this.

further: I can't say if they are hacking or not. Regardless of that fact, they aren't 3'ing us everywhere, just normal/consistent 2's. And we have put up way more 0's and 1's than I've seen in awhile. Their hacking doesn't cause us to get 0's. Not a good showing.

We had that happen in Honda recently. We kicked their asses.
Yep, it was a ukrainian clan, I believe. Within the first 10 minutes of war, their bottom guy, who was a co-lead, dropped a handful of troops onto both our TH10. Thought for sure it was some way to 'download' our bases. But the modded attack never came. Still don't know what it was.

 
If you are getting trucked and the clan has a "use two attacks or get kicked rule" you could just be seeing people use attacks to avoid getting kicked.

What clan were you looking at? Our current opponents put up 100. Something we haven't seen in a 40 vs 40 war in probably a year.

 
The new poison damage progression has made skeleton traps a giant PITA for hog attacks. I'm not getting them to stay in the poison long enough to die. Has anyone got a creative way to kill them off now?

...another group that outclasses our heros in a big way. So bad, we are seeing if they will have a farm war.
