I got zapped twice last night for 1300 DE. What really makes me mad is that with an exposed TH, not giving me a shield after zapping my DE is the height of dbaggery.

Pekka should be after witch or maybe before. Golem 4 Pekka 3 attacks can do real damage. Gives you a shot to 3 star. Healers.... Well meh

 
So PEKKA 3 not necessary til late TH9? I was planning to start that upgrade as soon as PEKKA 2 ends. No golems yet.

IMO, Pekka 3 is not necessary as a TH8. But if you go for it, it should be just about the last elixir upgrade. Even after Rage 5

Sometimes it's just a matter of when I have resources too. I finished golem 3 a few days ago, didn't have 80k DE sitting around, so I began level 6 barb research. I plan to have the 80k by the time that finishes.

I hardly use healers anymore actually, I'll probably upgrade jump spell before them.

 
I prefer L2 witch. Gowiwi is pretty powerful, and unlike pekka I have had stretches I have used witches for normal raids. They don't use as much space, build twice as fast and you can build them in DE barracks and not tie up a normal barracks like a Pekka would. Of course they cost DE, but with the upgrade that lets people spend elixir on walls, there may be stretches a TH9 will be willing to spend DE on raids to make elixir.

I'm just doing my L3 Pekka now at the tail end of TH9.

I somehow just left the clan, I thought I hit "View" clan. Can I not search for it to come back or do I need an invite or whatever?

Yeah, not sure what to do. I've already got level 3 golem and pekka. Was saving up for level 4 golem but thinking that getting level 2 witches might be better short-term to just release oceans of skulls. I mostly do GoWiPe now and not GoWiWi for that reason, so it would open up another possible attack to play with.

We'll see how annoying the last 10k DE is, if I'm tired of getting lightning'd I'll just get the witches.

 
Well that was intense. Margin was so slim on so many attacks.

Asking for a friend:

Plays on his Samsung phone with a Google acct. His phone took a #### so they pulled the sim card, reloaded everything and it was all good. Tried to log into CoC and no go (had a th8 acct). Wouldn't let him load his existing account, Verizon was clueless, Super Cell was no help. Anyway to get his old account back?

if he's sure it was tied to a google account he should be able to get it back. but just because the phone has a google account on it doesn't mean the TH was saved to the account. seems like a basic question but we are assuming he definitely saved the TH to his google account?

I am not sure and given the issues he's had I'd almost guarantee it wasn't. He's not exactly the most tech savvy guy in the group so when I started asking about Google+ accounts & his eyes got glassy I kinda figured he was SOL but I told him I'd ask the collective. Not even sure he's set one up for this new account now that I think of it. Thanks

 
The millionaire owner of my company came by yesterday to talk NFL survivor picks. Conversation somehow got around to how both of his older sons are playing some game called "Clash Of Clans". I was practically salivating at the thought of the number of gems those kids have spent.

Funny, I was out last night with the owner of a company we do business with and somehow we got to talking about Clans so he showed me his kid's base. Guy puts Ron to shame. He just laughed when I asked him if he had any idea how much money he has in that game.
 
The following Boog players are either currently not listed on the roster on Page 1, or don't have a FBG log in. I know that some of these are :confirmed: FBGs, and others are FBG kids/friends, but we need some updates.

Jonathan is one of the aiden's kids. hitem20 is a user here with same name. assume it's the same person as well as squirrel legion for same reason.

 
So i'm messing around with shuke at th6. What a useless th level. You don't get the 4th barracks or 4th camp at that level, get capped at 140 troops and can build a healer as top end troop. It opens up a heal spell and some lab upgrades but with such a low camp headcount it's useless to grind elixer to get it.

I'd say TH6 is an instant upgrade for any noob trying this out. 200 troop L4 barching at TH7 is the first time you should catch your breath imo.

You also have 6 days to wait on TH7 where you can just do lab and clan castle and camps to L6 and get one or two barracks up to healer with no sweat at all.

 
Another highlight of the war yesterday was waacky's attack on their 25. He did this wild ### hog/valk/golem/3freeze2jump thing. He got deep in the base without using jump spells and then got the TH and jumped on the other side of the core with his valks and wiz still around.

In the middle of the attack someone said

"we use jump to get in the core, he uses jump to get OUT"

still has me giggling a bit.

Based on the advice of one the smart folk around here this is what I did with my alternate account, completely skipped 6 and went straight to 7. Only slowed down to get storages up to speed in order to facilitate upgrading the th. Spent a few weeks sub 200 building base from there. Money move right there

 
If someone is gonna split from FBG1 after this war let me know, I'd like to get shuke in there so I don't have to keep leeching off the boog (who has been very accommodating, btw)

Shuke will always yield to a live player that wants in.

Weird, I thought the same about hitem and squirrel, but I couldn't find their username when I did a search for them :unsure:
