If someone is gonna split from FBG1 after this war let me know, I'd like to get shuke in there so I don't have to keep leeching off the boog (who has been very accommodating, btw)

Shuke will always yield to a live player that wants in.
Bangkok Bob also tried getting back into fbgs last night but we were full

We need to continue to boot inactives to make room.

And yes - Jonathan is my 8 yr old with the seriously under developed TH9

The following Boog players are either currently not listed on the roster on Page 1, or don't have a FBG log in. I know that some of these are :confirmed: FBGs, and others are FBG kids/friends, but we need some updates.

Greg, can we get these updated as they come in?

As I said in chat, Scuttle (top ten attacker and donated), Luke (my other account), Collin, and Nick are all with me. Nick will be out before war.

Hey guys, need a little help. My base was previously all compartments. I changed it up by taking the entire outside ring of compartments and making it one large circle by leaving one wall open between each compartment. I have filled all of these holes with spring traps and coffin bombs.

Can some of the people in the know let me know how my war base layout looks now. I am hoping that by doing this i limit the other guy from getting to my TH and forcing him to settle for one star by only getting 50%, if he can even get that.

Thanks.

Culd, I will be leaving FBG1 after this next go round for a week's vaca. Stupid international rates preventing from taking cell.

Will still have access to other account in Honda.

Also, for any war, I produce a ton of stuff to donate. Right now I have 2 max lava hounds, a max golem, 10 max skulls and like 25 wizards for cc troops if anyone needs donations. I don't check in here or in the game much, but if you PM me it hits my email and I can check in and donate whatever anyone needs.

This goes for any war. I usually wait to attack till the end of the day and I don't raid so I am always sitting on these troops.

So, leaving Wildcat, nick and collin as members but not Elders. Nick and collin are kids on PIK95's soccer team, they can go through him for any admissions. Same with Wildcat can go through bangkok bob.

In this war, 3 is very barchable. You can get to 50% without attacking anything on the other side of a wall. There are a few low level defenses outside of the walls. Last time we had a similar base, I went one side at a time, nice and slow. Drop 3 giants to draw fire and then unleash archers and goblins (yes, goblins) to clean out the side while your giants are engaged. Do this on all four sides

Pro tip: The NW side is where your attack is most likely to draw out the cc so save that side for last.

Of course this doesn't apply for at least 24 hours so let's handle this in our first attack so we can all loot and profit.

Glad to see your priorities are in order  have a good trip

Lets push for a shock and ####### awe this time. Our heroes need rest and a quick run up to triple digits allows us to let us snooze our big guns.

Who was Jack in Honda? He is requesting in at the Boog and has the password, but wondering who he is and why he isn't with Honda anymore.

I've gotten just 1 good base (400k total resources) to raid in the last 3 days. I'm at 1400 trophies and I'm guessing an AQ won't help me if there's nothing worth attacking. :(

There's lots of elixir based upgrades, and I need to get away from my costly balloonion army. Are you guys batching? If so, in what trophy range? I'm still rolling with lvl5 troops.
ive been around the 1200-1400 range my entire stay at th9 doing barch collector raids. first few weeks were tough with all the elixir drains and wars
If I end up above 1350 I get smashed by a TH9 or 10. 1200-1350 is solid barching, but more next-ing than I am used to.
I have a theory about the 1100-1200 range. Sorry if this has already been discussed/verified/busted.

It seems that the inactive bases at 1250+ constantly get attacked by trophy pushers until they settle in the 1100 area. There, they hover and collect resources in Silver2 limbo and get barched 24/7.

I don't recall Jack in Honda, to be honest. I let him in Boog, but he already left.
He's a habitual clan hopper. Honda will not accept his request to join the future.
is he the guy who demanded lvl 5 DE troops as soon as he joined?

Sounds about right. He and Nathan like asking for witches I think.

I agree any inactive base will end up finding a general range where trophies lost and gained equal out. But I don't think there is one specific range where all bases end up. You can find inactive bases all over the trophy range. It is going to depend entirely on base strength and layout.

The stronger a base, the more the lower level people fail to get a star and give up trophies to the base, so it climbs. The weaker, the more easily it gives up trophies and it falls until it gets to a range the attackers are lower level and can't get the stars as easily.

Same thing with base layout. If your collectors are way out from your walls and unprotected, everyone can take them down easily but without gaining a star, so the base will climb in trophies until it ends up in a level that higher level folks will find it worth the league win bonus to level the entire base. But put your collectors in behind your walls and go inactive, and people getting the resources are likely to get 50% just from what they had to deploy to get the resources, so that base is going to equalize at a much lower trophy range where the attackers are weaker and win less.

This doesn't explain the 500 trophy range imo. You see lots of inactive TH9 in there with all sorts of wild ### base layouts. Granted you have to next till your thumb falls off to find them, but they are still there.

imo they are sub200ers that lost interest and drifted up a bit and are now there due to trophy droppers going to sub 200 and being held down because jrk hits them 3 times in 4 days.

You still at TH8? Just last night I barched about 3 million total resources in a couple hours at 1400-1500 trophies. I never saw more than 200k/200k but they were there within a couple minutes of nexting. I look at it this way: the 200k/200k bases are everywhere. Your trophy level determines how long you have to hit next.

And my theory is that the fringes of each league are best, but it might just be coincidence, I don't really have a reason why. I try to stay around 1400 but creep up to 1500 sometimes for better DE scores. I'm holding a lot of resources though and getting totaled pretty quick when I log off so that could be a reason to drop to 1200?

jack and nathan are brothers, one of them is 13 so i assume the other is also quite young. they are somehow related to gaspumper. jack was in honda for awhile and starting hopping out last night. gas if they are with you give them a pep talk on donation expectation. by that i mean they are good at giving out stuff but seem to expect quite high level donations as in level 5 DE troops as noted. one of them wanted to raid with valks over the weekend, both have TH level 5 or 6 i think.

Some of the kids in Honda have been fun to play with. Heck I've asked for Ron Hounds a few times..... That doesn't mean I'm going to get one.

I would agree with this for FBGS and maybe even for Boog. I think Honda largely has been okay having youngsters mostly because the parent/guardian is in the clan with them. in fact there are at least three in the Honda who are super young but great members that I am aware of.

It really is nearly impossible to not get 2 stars on a TH9 with a GoWiPe.
This is true. What I'm trying to figure out now is how to get the elusive 3rd star! Obviously on a low base, it would. But on my assigned TH9 opponent, I've only gotten to mid 90's a couple times.

This last time I packed a little heavier and went 4 pekkas. It seemed to last longer than had I plugged in 2 witches or a few more wizards. I dunno...

As long as you get the pekka in the middle. I've had 90+% 1-stars w/ gowipe. Of course I'm terrible at this game.
I've had attacks where I utteraly fail at getting pekkas in the middle and still pull it out if I get the golem(s), heroes, and some wiz in the middle. Once I realize the pekkas are doing a usleess orbit around the base, I just mash my spells and let that group push towards the TH. If you get the TH, you'll pretty much get the 50% star by default.

Yeah I have no idea. I had one GoWiPe that went perfectly that I would've gotten to 100% if I had more time. Other than that, even when I get everything to the middle, I usually top out around75%-80% and a 3rd start never really being a possibility. I'm not sure how to take the next step. Maybe devote fewer resources to the middle and think of creative ways to take out stuff at the opposite side, I don't know.

I may experiment on this war once it's out of hand (or I might just pot #3, we'll see).

Jack is with me, although I'm not sure what he's up to at any given time.

That's why I keep suggesting people always be upgrading 1 tesla all the way through the level.

Wait on them and you end up with 3 teslas each needing 14-20 days of upgrades and the rest of your builders idle because you did everything else first.

So I mentioned this in Boog as something I just (re?)learned, and I wasn't the only one who didn't know, so posting it here.

You get a league bonus when you get any star in an attack from using Attack and/or Next. Like in Crystal 2 you get 50k gold, 50k elixir, 200 DE.

You do NOT get that bonus on revenge attacks though. Which at higher trophy ranges can really cut into your income if you're counting on revenges.

At lower levels they aren't all that impressive. But at higher levels they can wipe out barch or minions extremely fast, especially if they are grouped together. By TH9's max levels for them, they do more damage than cannons and archer towers. They also do double damage to pekka so are very good to have in war if you're facing gowipe attacks.

Edit to add: If you get creative you can also mess up people's attack plans putting tesla where they won't expect them. I had a balloonian war attack I did messed up because the guy had 4 teslas all clumped together where you wouldn't expect them, so the balloons I sent at that part of the base were woefully outnumbered.
