There's lots of elixir based upgrades, and I need to get away from my costly balloonion army. Are you guys batching? If so, in what trophy range? I'm still rolling with lvl5 troops.
ive been around the 1200-1400 range my entire stay at th9 doing barch collector raids. first few weeks were tough with all the elixir drains and wars
If I end up above 1350 I get smashed by a TH9 or 10. 1200-1350 is solid barching, but more next-ing than I am used to.
I have a theory about the 1100-1200 range. Sorry if this has already been discussed/verified/busted.
It seems that the inactive bases at 1250+ constantly get attacked by trophy pushers until they settle in the 1100 area. There, they hover and collect resources in Silver2 limbo and get barched 24/7.
I agree any inactive base will end up finding a general range where trophies lost and gained equal out. But I don't think there is one specific range where all bases end up. You can find inactive bases all over the trophy range. It is going to depend entirely on base strength and layout.
The stronger a base, the more the lower level people fail to get a star and give up trophies to the base, so it climbs. The weaker, the more easily it gives up trophies and it falls until it gets to a range the attackers are lower level and can't get the stars as easily.
Same thing with base layout. If your collectors are way out from your walls and unprotected, everyone can take them down easily but without gaining a star, so the base will climb in trophies until it ends up in a level that higher level folks will find it worth the league win bonus to level the entire base. But put your collectors in behind your walls and go inactive, and people getting the resources are likely to get 50% just from what they had to deploy to get the resources, so that base is going to equalize at a much lower trophy range where the attackers are weaker and win less.
