We are up huge and they have basically no way to come back on us.

There are a few barch-y type pots in the TH10 area, but I'm not smart enough to determine which those are. VA is our barchpot expert here so I defer to him.

I'd wait to the final 2 hours to try it, otherwise shoot for stars. There are a mix of stars to get in several ranges and IMO there are a couple of the TH10s that can be had by TH8 dragons for 1 or maybe 2 new stars if you get lucky.

I think apple fixed the ability to side load in 8.1. So it most likely takes a jailbreak to do this now in any situation.

Well for a lavaloon I would be giving up kills quad for 1 max drag and 5 minions. This would deal with the dragon.

My brother, who is beginning to settle in nicely at the TH7 dragon rush stage in wars, can't always play due to his hours. I wouldn't mind playing for him at times, both to ensure maximum war participation but also because there's not always a lot for me to do now as a late TH9. He lives in MA. I live in Australia.

I'm wondering if I can sync his game on to like a random iPod touch or old iPhone we have around the house, and play his account when he's not. Do I just have to sign into the app store with his Apple account and download CoC? Any reason this would be a problem from that point of view? I don't want to get his account locked or something.

I think the playing from two different continents would likely raise red flags to the Supercell people.

Yeah I'm just wondering if Supercell monitors/cares about this kind of thing.

I'm a near max TH8 as well. I've been 2 starring TH9s (or attempting to anyway) to allow TH9s to take on my max TH8 counterparts. I can't touch very strong TH8s so it seems like the way to go, and the war loot is really nice.

If someone wanted to put together a full clan's worth of these I'd be happy to run a regression to get an estimate of the weightings Supercell is using for each item.

Basically what was done above, plus the village ranking.

Except that for mixed-level walls I'd need to have a good estimate of the proportion at each level -- and everything would need to be converted to numeric values (no "Skull" balloons or walls, etc).

Easy for the base owner to get an exact count. Just go into the base editor, remove all and check how many of each type of wall he's got, then cancel.

Try a basic th8 on th9 gowipe ?

That's what I found as my most effective attack towards the end of my time at th8.

3 PEKKA, 2 Golem, 8 WBs, 1 archer, rest wizards - Pekka in CC.

Send golems about 5 tiles apart to the easiest side to breach - send in 3-4 wall breakers to get them in.

Clear out obstacles with wizards to keep the Pekkas funneling into the path the golems/wbs created.

Unleash the PEKKA and CC PEKKA to go straight behind golems and hopefully breach th - chase them with the remaining wbs

Use any other wizzies left over to clear outside items and hopefully get the th and the 50%.

Barb King can be used much like the wizzies as well.

Take 2 heal / 1 rage - save the heal for when you get to the TH if there's another wall around it and you are out of WBs.

This one on the surface looks a little more serious. Going to take some creative moving to make this work.

Need to have 3 stars all the way to 25 at a minimum, and maybe a few more.

So:

1-5 go +5 for 2 - This covers their back half of their TH10. They have L2 infernos but rest of their towers are weak. Don't get cute just golem these guys for two and move on.

6-8 - Free for all on 1-5 for 1 star, or 3 stars on any TH9. But needs to be a slam dunk 3.

[SIZE=14.4444446563721px]9 to 17 go +16 - This covers their TH9 from 25 down with our high TH9. Swap bases amongst this group to get your best target for 3 stars or bust. [/SIZE]

18 to 31 go -7. Wait? Minus? Yes, Minus. Looking for 2 stars here on all these bases.

Remainder of bases are FCFS on all TH8 or lower. Shuke will be looking at taking down 2 of 5 Max TH8.

Complete brain fart on the wording there as I'm doing 3 things at once.

One of them tried to join our clan after war was declared we are pretty sure.

They are interested in meta-gaming us here, would be the better wording.

Point being - keep strategy talk to the game itself.

26 and 33 are the toughest in that range, imo. The rest are exploitable in one way or another. Both are extremely solid early th9 bases that we should look at for our early guys. I'm somewhat at a loss as to how to 3 star either of them with TH9 max level troops.

This base guys (25) mainly just has pushed the storages out to the corners to stall out gowipe coming in from the 3 and 9 oclock sides. This makes the quadhound actually easier to accomplish as minions won't have to wade thru those storages to get to the core.

The AA is a little stronger but he's spread his defenses out so much that the loons will be on top of them quicker and taking less fire from the random archer tower. Gonna put one zap on the cc and hope this works. I'll set the king down on one south corner and some loons down on the other when things escalate that direction.

Also possible cc was full of valks and barbs and crap like that. Yeah, will shoot at the wiz first. I think they aggro to different spots due to their range of fire, no? In any situation i'll have my cc drag and minions down early and hoping to rage in, but not sure how much of a distance to the lava hounds they will pull in to.

Actually it's because you will have breached the CC radius at multiple locations (before the CC is empty). If you want them to stay bunched, they have to be locked onto a single target. With multiple breaches, they kind of randomly come out.
