was able to almost 3 star a th10.. might be due to the base layout but freeze is definitely OP

You have the troops, so u should look into gowiva next war. Val's are faster and u can build lots more and they can absorb hits as well.

Will use it twice next war (valks still lvl 1 for now) and see what happens.

I will have Lvl 2 Valks right after this war ends. I'd like to give this a try in the war after this one.

New here? Yeah, they've been "updating" the board so there is currently no way to identify what threads you've already posted in. That is supposed to change at some point but its been that way for a few days.

But clicking on the blue circle will still take you to the first post after your last visit.

1 - centralized aa. Shuke will try this first should be ez.

2 - First of 3 identical bases like this. Should fall to a normal loonian. 8 loons each side with rage to the aa, then archers and minions to clean up. Bucky

3 - Same as 3. Bucky

4 - He's changed his base like 10 times. At the moment looks like a super easy drag snipe for a th8, keep an eye on this one. Gonna sell pb on this one. She always falls for my charm.

5 - TH9 standard loonian - I'm planning on hitting this with my second attack.

6 - First difficult base to get even 1 on. Lets see if moredoor has his heroes up and can manage it. Somewhat at a loss here.

7 - Jason will get 3 here or we boot him.

8 - Aiden i think already is aiming at this base.

9 - looks like a cc suck superfur spam base to me. one jump 2 freeze 1 heal 1 rage. Should be ez2 - SML?

10 - Might be a 3 star sky pig but would also fall to the same style as 9.

Haven't looked at any of the bases* yet. Unfortunately have to report that I put AQ down last night. The word was this would be an easy war, so I didn't think to hold off on the upgrade.

Right now we have 135xp and that's all we were trying to do in the "fun" wars. It's 135 more than we'd have if we were just going to war once a week. I don't see why we are pressuring people now when the entire time it's a "practice", "try anything" war and now we are pushing for the win. Doesn't seem right to me.

People were attacking their #1, 2 and 3 early in the war and getting no stars and NOW we worry about picking up stars. Worry about picking up stars the entire war or don't.

After a closer look, I think a few of our guys could probably get 2 on their #6.

The infero and AA can be frozen simultaneously. On the left side you could even freeze the AQ with them. Pathing could be tricky and the CC possibly expensive to lure, but we've seen VA and Jason take down harder bases than this.

Sorry, Percy won't get his attacks in. He's at school now for the day without his ipod.

He can be blocked for war, or booted if we need room for a more active developing player. We're at the end of a long basketball season, which has been the focus of our life for the past several weeks. We haven't even talked CoC at home since we went to the new war schedule, so I doubt he's even realized we have wars going on.

He has a school issued iPad with a different clan he pays more attention to, so he probably won't be very active again until summer comes and he losses the iPad.

Their plan was to just let the th8 and lower opt out until they ranked up. I tried to explain, but gave up.

Just saying, you could see how some clans want to hold on to their up and coming guys, train them in their vision or whatever.

Why recruit like that? We could just open the door and fill out our roster to 50 members and get 5 people that meet the requirements listed there.

If you're going to spend time recruiting you might as well be up front that war attacks are expected and open it up to any townhall level if his/her offense is up to par. Maybe we'd get th9 players that fit right in with where the rest of us are and can contribute. I have no idea the make up of th levels on that site or how active/successful recruiting on there will be but if you're just looking for filler accounts you can achieve that in 10 minutes by opening the door.

I think we ran into another clan who was practicing/picking up xp in between real wars. We came back from like 6 down right near the end and left them scrambling for stars with their raiding armies in the final minutes.

It wasn't even sandbagging either. Just happened that way. Would have been a fun clan to serious war against, very close match to Honda.

edit- Oh, and a Hondan who shall remain nameless may or may not have been making an attack in the final minute while putting his daughter on the school bus
