Further down the page are the actual increases to building hps.

This post about AT hps seems significant:

Whoa nice find. That changes things a bit.
haste is such a giant boost to loons they had to do something like this or it would be late 2014 again.

Pattern if not time gemming imo would be

Poison 2 3

Haste 2 to max

Poison max

See if quake sucks or not. If it sucks continue back on regular scheduled upgrade cycle, otherwise evaluate how far to take quake.

th9 sort of get ripped off, they give you haste but ### #### max haste is ludicrous speed the level th9 get isn't really all that faster than what rage is and costs de

I assume upgrades are at the lab, which is already booked for 27 more days (finish golem 4, witches, jump). Should have plenty of data points by then to dictate which is next.

Depressing.

Agreed. Now I regret for jumping to TH9 without finishing all my labs. Never going to find time for WB5 or minions.

This is one of the reasons I don't get involved with all the speculating craziness in here and worrying about war match up metrics, which attack is best, etc...

As soon as I've figured something out in this game, it's changed. I don't have the time in a day to take a dump, let alone figure out how the new CoC patch is going to affect my current attitudes and philosophies to the game. As soon as you figure something out, it's patched or nerfed or superseded by prevailing opinion or an update.

I do however, respect the #### out of the guys here who figure it out for us and share the info, but for me, I'm here to have fun and win the #### out of some wars (another good reason Quattro is the best ;) )

I just tried bluestacks for the first time. SameAsDay1 has been primarily played on an old iPhone 3GS that we had laying around.

Boy do I feel stupid.

I hate raiding on bluestack, likely because my computer sucks. But it's great for staying online and not having to stay glued to the iPad for hours

Looks like we won't be getting 10 more walls. So in the end it really won't be all that expensive an update from a gold perspective.

I'm probably going to take the new factory to max without even stopping to build any Poison spells. Haste seems like the big payoff to this thing.

Seems a lot of people are reaching the conclusion that Earthquake is completely pointless.

Haste seems to have the potential to be extremely OP

Earthquake is useless but it sounds like EY is gonna max it out insta.

I'm gonna need to see someone use poison at higher levels to see where it fits. Level 1 looks like it serves it's purpose quite well.

I could see earthquake being a possibility on the back end of a GoWiXX in heavily compartmentalized bases to weaken walls. It might keep the army going and prevent it from stalling out in the core.

Here's the optimum upgrade plan without gems and using the assumption that you can research spells while the lab is under construction just like the other lab.

  • 1) Start factory
  • 2) Start Poison 2 in lab
  • 3) 4 days later both finish and start factory level 2
  • 4) Start Poison 3 in lab
  • 5) 6 days later both finish and start factory level 3
  • 6) Start Haste 2 in lab
  • 7) 6 days later start Haste 3 in lab
  • 8) Lab finishes 2 days after step 7 and you can now build Poison 3 and Haste 2 spells day 1 and have 6 days left on Haste 3

Still think a haste has more value even in a congested base. The main issue with gowipe is that they get hung up on skeleton traps and also they rely on slow moving troops. If you get hung up on walls that's more a function of poor planning. I'd still rather use a jump and get 100% of the wall for 2 spells than 1 quake and get 50% of the wall down for 1.

Still waiting on EY though.

What if you just started a long lab upgrade just before the sneak peeks started? :kicksrock:

question: if haste is cast over the top of rage is the effect cumulative?
It appears you would likely get the best of the speed and damage boost. This isn't clear but they have said "they don't stack" but what that means specifically is unclear.

I'm saying it is a possibility and worth experimenting with imo.

But I do agree that earthquake seems like the worst spell of the bunch.

There have been a number of times that I have narrowly missed a 2 star because I couldn't take down the TH. I also think this is useful for those base designs that lump all of their infernos/xbows/TH in the same central region.

Also, they are changing the AI that will allow units to quit hitting walls of empty compartments. So getting stuck on walls might be less a concern.
