I think we all would have been better off not getting in this evening. Totally stumbled out of the gate on this one. Either a huge comeback in store or just a putrid performance.

Upgrade complete!

Ugh...we can't upgrade poison spell in the lab when we start the DE spell factory build. Will sit on an idle lab for 4 days now.

 
AZ commented during the game that 2 Lv4 Poison spells took out opposing CC and an AQ under 20.

IF that is the case that is a huge change in the game.

Don't care if there is a 2nd farter - with no CC or AQ to worry about Lavaloon is here to stay - big time

 
So, I went to upgrade. The upgrade failed to download and now I can't get on

Sweet

When I go to play store, no option to DL. Just says installing

 
The army button is a big disappointment. I thought I would be able to queue an army in one place.

As it is, the button does absolutely nothing for me. I wasn't having problems finding my first rax or camps before.

 
Poison questions . . .

Does it affect air cc troops too?

No longer need to drag opposing CC troops into corner to dispose of.Just place poison spell where you think cc troops will wind up on map.

If you put poison over CC before they come out do troops get poisoned as they come out?

 
Lab is not showing poison for lab upgrade while under for me either. Bummer. The other lab let you do that for sure.

 
L1 Earthquake does 6% damage to buildings and walls, but has a 4x effect on walls. So 6% building damage and 24% wall damage.

 
Yeah, I was very anal retentive about my barrack placement. I had to have them in order of arrows so the new icon does nothing for me either.

Thanks to my fathers day present I now have lab at level 3. Waiting on super furs to finish and ill start upgrading spells. Don't think ill Ron that. Need the time to reload on elix and DE.

Unfortunately don't think I can swing spells and hero upgrades at the same time.

ok, so the poison spell seems a bit op. I had an upopped golem, not hound, golem at the end of a 1 golem laloon raid. and it certainly affects minions, they were dropping like, well uh...flies.

Well, the high end th10 attacks will still be some variant of gowi. But I can't really see a reason to hog anymore at th9 except for hoggy barch for farming, which I've been messing with a bit lately and find it really sort of fun and i got some serious walls laid down using it.

I would be interested to see if a no-suck hog attack now is effective and that would certainly change things alot, but it's going to take some time to calibrate how many poisons you need. Based on what we've seen the standard gohog approach seems a little underpowered just relative to the available spells now.

Certainly worth trying to take like 40 hogs 2 heals and the rest poisons on a base with no dgb spots and see if you can get the queen dead with like k/q wiz and a jump. I can see poison being used to take out the cc, and then slow down the king and ground skeletons.

Funny, you were about to lose your mind about them nerfing laloon because of unfair gameplay. But they've made it even stronger and the game even more one dimensional and you seem to be a fan.

 
You also have to keep in mind a max haste is going to be super OP without a second air sweeper (which the war base in video didn't have)

Well, if you do read my comments closely I am frustrated how they just keep adding defense with no offense of consequence. Their adding of L5 dragons was useless compared to the sweeper. There was no hint, except in rumors, that there was a new spell deck coming.

Our TH9, and especially our ones down heroes, have basically no answer for a center queen in war. So they would have added queen AI and two sweepers with no buff to offense in 2 updates.

So the fact that they actually made the most user friendly attack down a hero stronger, if not overpowered, yeah I'm pleased. And I'm not sure hogs took it in the ### on this update or not. The no wall thing really helps you guys. And TH9 have limited access to high level haste so the boost for them isn't extreme.

 
I'm just bugging you.

We have different views on what constitutes good gameplay. I want to see varied attacks and it to be very difficult to get 3* so that great attacks are rewarded much more.

Well and of course there's monkey see monkey do type structure. People see our strongest guys using one attack style and getting success and they are gonna copy it. Probably the same with you guys. Of course it would be great to have both in one super clan that could rule them all, but that's a discussion for October.

3 of these spells can almost take out an AQ40 which has HP of 1620

2 spells can take out AQ20 with HP of 1076

Crazy.

4 poison spells can take out max AQ - and if it's close to the CC you will not have to worry about either of them for the rest of the attack

It doesn't do max damage to queen. It's some percentage. Would have to watch the video again but they needed 2 max to take out a L12 I think

There seems to be a round down at some point on all these spells that do damage. i.e. if you get a wall on a quake down to some % and have overkill it finishes them off.

won't be long till someone does the math on all this stuff.

Are we sure they do full damage to heroes?

I ask because I saw a video where poison seemed to almost nothing to a low level king.
