The point is to demonstrate the open. Not flex. It was a th9 spell deck. Second raid is a 9 on 9. The poison is an interesting touch. Keeps her pinned down. Wouldn't have thought of that.

To Cliff's point first thing I noticed was AQ level, second is you have to have a hound in the opponent CC. Honda just doesn't run into that very often.

I like the potential though. I figured it wouldn't be long before someone found a use for L6 lighting after the first vid you posted of a max AQ getting taken out with L7.

I think this guy is a little short sighted. In this case his heroes do jack ####. No reason why they couldn't take out a drag/loon combo and a few trash buildings. That's basically all they did in this video. Even in the case of a CC hound I'd use them for backside cleanup or to tank something late, not just drop in and die.

Yea i didn't quite get the whole 'hound in the CC thing'. If you were really good you'd pop the CC and zap that #### as it flew through the lightning storm #nextlevel

They will be long dead by then. Th8s in mwc are usually gone in about 15-20 min. Then they hit th9s

Back in FBGS now (I am anyways). Some randoms Culdeus knows we're trying to get an arranged war that, predictably, failed to get match. So I gave them a couple lessons on how to crush TH8s and left.

TH9 meta has totally changed in the last two weeks. Now you see people running what we used to call the shammy before it was the shammy as a "maxattack". Otherwise they are zapping queens and AA structures and running pents.

TH9 3* have never been easier in the last 6 months than they are right now.

Here's my first shot at the AQZAP level chart. This is on the data that says the first 3 zaps net you 14 hits. I put the hits to kill in one column so this can be adjusted quickly. If you use poison first you get 15 hits rather than 14, PLUS the damage from the poison. So keep that in mind. Therefore a L6 3xzap should theoretically be able to take out a AQ29 with 3 zaps and one poison.

The tighter patterning of the zaps coupled with higher damage per shot is really, really overpowering.

I've been in a friend's clan for a couple of months or so, and I've lost some of my CoC focus. It seems like the game is passing me by. And I'm trying to reel it back in. Help me out with farming, and war army comps.

Here's some pertinent info:

TH9 - 2 lvl1 xbows, working on maxing other defenses. All four teslas are maxed.

Max troops for TH9, except for lvl3 dragons, lvl1 valks, lvl1 witches and lvl3 golems.

Royalty: BK11, and AQ10

Spells: Max Rage, Lvl5 Heal, Lvl5 Zap, Lvl1 Jump, Lvl1 Poison, Lvl1 Earthquake, Lvl1 Haste

Typically for war, I've been rolling out 32 Loons and 2 Lavahounds, with a CC lavahound (but more often than not, a dragon + 2 Loons because there are only 2 other clanmates that can make hounds). I hardly ever use hogs.

Farming-wise, sometimes I use the same war comp as above (when trying to maintain/gain cups). When hunting for loot on the cheap, I'll usually gibarch. A few AQ walks have been thrown in here and there.

Gibarch still seems to be the overwhelming strat for farming at all trophy levels for all resource grabs. Many people have tried to trick it up in one way or another, but it's still for time and army cost by far the most effective. I just find it boring.

Would change up your war attacks. If I recall correctly, you would never pull the CC or kill the AQ. Go in with golem, a few Wiz and heroes to take them out first.

I have spent the past couple of weeks figuring out the goblin smash n grab strategy. I'm only in G1-G2, but I have been absolutely killing it. Does anyone else use this?

It's basically centered around dropping four quakes to clear a path to the DE, then a couple of rage spells, and releasing 150-180 goblins who devour everything. It's not great for gold/elixir, but it's easy DE profit.

Yeah, the more exposure I get to people farming silver gold I'm convinced that masters/champs might not be best for really anyone except those that just run snipe scripts. The profits in bronze to low crystal I see pulled in is shocking. The bases are awful, undefended, and people just crush it.

There's sort of a no mans land from Crystal 3 to Masters 1 now. Other than that you can find loot pretty much everywhere.

I feel like maybe 80% of the time I get through a base with a lot of hogs left (like 10+) OR I barely get through it and the last two or three defenses take out my last few hogs. Wondering if keeping a smallish reserve (backed by a few wiz) makes sense to handle the latter cases?

So you're saying something like...25 hogs, 6 wiz, 1 giant, 1 arch with a reserve of maybe 3 giants and 6 hogs?

99.9999999999999999% of bases use CC drag. So that's going to burn off 4 wiz right there. Even if they live through the kill odds are they go die somewhere else. I would use at most one giant to tank late. You can't get enough spread to justify more than 1 and toss in more cleanup wiz/arch/whatever.

Raiding I combine it with GiBarch for great success.

I've tried it in normal raids, it worked but was expensive with the hounds. I think Bender has done a bunch too.
