6 healers, 6 giants, arch/barb, 12 WBs, CC furs/wiz. AQ doesn't get touched, can go again in about 10 minutes and is very cheap. Haven't found a TH9 that I can't get the DE and 50% on.

I'll only laloonian raiding when both heroes are down, like this week. Long build times suck and kill the trophy count.

We have at least 3 folks in fbgs who hit the Th10 button in the past week so I'd be curious on this too.

I'm not 100% on the preferred TH10 troop upgrade order (war priority) given the dark spell inclusion and L7 zap. I'm guessing it looks something like this and feel free to let me know if it's off.

Tier 1: hound 3, golem 5, freeze 2-5

Tier 2: wiz 6, haste 3-4, giant 7, zap7

Tier 3: wb 6, arch 7, barb 7, minion 6

Tier 4: dragon 5, pekka 4-5, jump 3

Tier 5: poison 4, quake 4, goblin 6

That plan requires you to farm as unreal amount of elixir to keep up with that. You have all 4 camps that take priority of all your elixir until those are maxed. If you can grind enough to do them all in the 14 days then you are all set, but that requires a ton of farming. I think I did hound, freeze 2, golem, freeze 3-5

Here's my first shot at the AQZAP level chart. This is on the data that says the first 3 zaps net you 14 hits. I put the hits to kill in one column so this can be adjusted quickly. If you use poison first you get 15 hits rather than 14, PLUS the damage from the poison. So keep that in mind. Therefore a L6 3xzap should theoretically be able to take out a AQ29 with 3 zaps and one poison.

The tighter patterning of the zaps coupled with higher damage per shot is really, really overpowering.

So 3 LVL6 Lightening spells can kill a LVL20 queen?

Yeah I figured I'd need to mix a dark troop in there. I'll probably have a ton of de since I'll keep my queen awake to help grind the elix.

I think the appeal of bronze silver is the defenses are generally a joke and you should end up with a full health queen each raid.

It's more efficient than just farming the bonus in champs, maybe. It's different for th10 because champs bases can be a beating to queen if you aren't there to core dive

We might be talking about slightly different things. Have you tried getting 50% on any TH10 with only AQ/healer? (and maybe 1 spell) That is, no other troops. At AQ38 you should be able to.

When I pack 8 healers, many TH10 raids still end with her at full health. In 30 minutes I can go again. It takes the right base but this can certainly be done against max TH10.

What to look for:

• infernos buried deep
• AA either within her 5-tile range, or buried deep enough that they can't touch your healers. If there are 2-3 AA that are in between these zones, pass.
• perimeter compartments that are 6-tiles deep are optimal. When compartments are larger than that, she often stops the perimeter walk to bust toward the center. (which is where the infernos put an abrupt end to the walk)

My success rate is probably ~35% but if I am hoping to improve that to 75%. The failures usually involve her going the opposite direction I intended, or diving in too early. As soon as I see her shooting at a wall, drop the loons and minions where they will secure the 1-star. So it's not a failure in getting the bonus; rather, it 'fails' in the sense that I have to cook other troops, and wait for her to wake again, which negates the intended benefit.

Are any of the high-AQ guys in FBG1 trying this? Any other insights?

Since the AQ walk topic came up again, thought I would update this. Honestly I am not sure when this becomes viable, but I know there are several of us now with AQ40 and I imagine it should work down at least to AQ35 if not further.

Anyway I have found the extended walk can be very lucrative, and more importantly allows you to reduce mindless nexting. About 1 in 20 bases are ripe for it, I would say, and you can typically get 2 attacks in per 30 minutes, as many times a day as you would like. You farm the bonus. When your trophy count nears 3300, drop cups by hitting exposed storages.

I farm about 30k DE per day fairly easily using this method, and it doesn't require being online that much. Also net about 3-4M each gold and elix. It might not be the most profitable farming technique but it is easy and fairly automatic once you learn to recognize the good bases from the bad. And it works well for upgrading the BK since you don't need him at all.

My build is 10 healers / 3 drags / 20 minions with 3 rage / 2 freeze / 1 poison. Typically I use 6-8 healers and maybe a couple of minions. Rarely use a spell, only if I need a bailout. Get two attacks in back-to-back (have 4 healers backcooked for 14 ready total) then reload. On occasion you will expose some meaty storages after the AQ delayers the base, that is where the dragons come in. But usually they stay leashed.

ETA: another advantage is that you always have her available on defense, since she is at full health when you are done with raiding.

First 4 on queen while standing on inferno. 5th just slightly left of the inferno. I think no matter what an inferno takes 5 zaps of any level. (well max ones) but don't have to necessarily give it direct hits. can share some of the hits to adjacent structures.

There is definitely more damage than what they let on. There has to be some sort of rounding in effect.

There must be something else going on with lighting. Based on shot patterns there is no way a max inferno dies to zaps. Too many fall out of the building footprint.

It is fun to run around just zapping the #### out of stuff.

Really? FTR, I dropped the poison first to slow the AQ movements and some damage, but didn't know that you get a tighter lightening strike grouping too.

Yup, the first spell drop as a zap has the widest shot pattern followed by the 5th. 2nd, 3rd, 4th are all super tight.

The most common internet bases now all nearly universally have queens near inferno towers. This makes them tremendously vulnerable. Some of the clover variants have queens still on outside ring but most of these super spread out moats are using a dead center queen which is begging to get a thunderstorm.

The queen zap is going mainstream. This is absolutely overpowering. I've gotten to the point where I think TH10 raids are getting a little too easy. Most wars I'm in are mixed but the destruction is in the 97%+ range with usually only one or two TH10s not left tripled. I got a couple one hero 3 stars last week. Anyone seeing opponents try this stuff?

What's interesting is the typical anti-2 bases are just absolutely annihilated by this. They universally have inferno butted right up to a queen. So now what you see strategy wise if that if someone throws an anti-3 TH10 base out send a TH9 to get 2 on it and then triple all the anti-2 TH10s and come back later for the ones that need stars.

Still haven't seen a perfect, perfect war, but should soon. They should become much more typical now. Game went from being impossible to too easy in 2 updates. And both on things I don't think SC really saw as a possibility.

The other two I was thinking if I brought 3 hounds (1 in my cc) with the rest dragons I should be able to target the ad and the drags can take out the rest of the base.

Don't think so. Those hounds will be toast by the time your drags make it to the AD unless there are very few buildings in the way... but if that is the case, no need for hounds. Would need a screenshot of the base to say for sure.

The problem with just drags and hounds is that drags are so freaking slow that the hounds get ate up while the drags are far away from the AD, especially if you're using all your spells to take out the other AD and can't rage/haste your drags in. Plus, if you're not luring/killing the CC, the hound will get crushed even quicker.

Now, if you're using a drag/hound/skull combo, it could be worth it, but would be base dependant and you'd only want 1 hound.

On that, just used a drag rush for the first time in months at TH8. 2 zaps + a quake to take down an AD is gold. That extra spell is huge.

I think they rotate the 3 free to play characters. Maybe every few days or weeks. If you like the character and want to have full access to them, you gotta pay the in-game currency you earn from playing, or you can buy them with real money. At least that how LoL did it.
