What's your luck with clans from India?  Big scale modders , or straight for the most part.  We declared a small 30 on 30 and hit a group called Hidden Leaf.
Just had modders from India 2 wars ago...and beat their sorry ###. Felt pretty good about that.

 
So if you still have to use your 2nd attack and were planning something around Mass Witch - change it up or go with the Mass Witch?

Wonder if VA's 3 star on a maxed out TH11 yesterday would be a 3 star today after the update?

I'm currently sitting on a #### ton of dark elixer. By the sound of it, I should upgrade valks instead of witches like I was planning on?

Looks like you're gonna have to be more mindful about poison use and haven't seen much mentioned here but xbows are gonna be more lethal as well. 

 
OK, so I'm back on this game for the first time since August.  Of course, things have changed a lot since then and I have no idea how to go about gaining resources and what to focus on so I'm looking for general guidelines.  My go to back then was Loonion raids.  Not sure if that is a feasible strategy anymore or not.

 I am a TH9 and my troop levels & spell levels are listed below.  What is the best way to gain resources as a TH9 at this point and what troops/spells do I need to upgrade first?  I'll worry about my defensive stuff later.  TIA, will answer yours.

Barbs 6, Archers 6, Giants 6, Gobs 5, WBs 5, Loons 6, Wiz 5, Heal 4, Drags 3, Pekka 3, Minion 5, Hogs 5, Valks 2, Golem 4, Witch 1, Hound 2

Light 5, Heal 6, Rage 5, Jump 2, Freeze 1, Poison 2, Quake 2, Haste 1

BK 12, AQ 13

An update not mentioned so far- looks like they removed the30 second time limit on joining to watch a war attack live. I just joined in on 2 different attacks both over 1:30 in.

 
Looks like you're just chasing DE at this point for heroes since your elixir lab is pretty much done at TH9. Gigob is the way to go for building up DE. Goblin 6 should be your next upgrade. Cmon back to fbgs and we'll show you plenty of gigob raids.

Gigob for de, get heroes up. Screw the trophies, they are worthless. Trim the edge collectors, one jump to de storage, 80 gobs. Profit

 
So just saw a GoVaHo raid where a guy healed the grass twice, missed his eq and still got a 3 star with 29s to spare, fresh. So yeah, safe to say valks have a little more power now.

 
Golden hour was amazing today. I was chasing elixir specifically on boost. 1 hour net profit of 4.5 mill gold, 5.5 mill elixir, 20k DE.

I'm not ready for this yet.  I'm not sure I can handle that kind of action, I need to ease back into this.

I raid with the gigob myself throwing in some archers as well, using the heals and jumps. And right now I only have lvl 5 giants.

do bowlers max at 3 at th11 now or is that the next update stuff? With all this leaked data it's hard to know what actually made THIS update.

 
Ok, and in even bigger news.  It appears coc did patch the ability to use trap locations on replays, so the days of the one barb drops are likely over.

I always liked the concept of Valks but was so disappointed in how useless they've been.  Glad to see she's becoming valuable.  :iheartfurpanties:

Ok, so here's what it looks like they did this update.  As I mentioned before I couldn't figure out why they had to show unexposed traps on replays.  They seemed to agree and created elements that block this practice.  This also means that people not only will no longer be able to see traps on replays, they might not be able to get them live either.  This is a massive step forward and might represent as far as the battle can go vs. modders.  To mod in the previous environment it will require private servers regardless.  These private servers charge thousands of dollars to use per client.  I've heard it costs some of the TWC $1000 a month to run these servers.  Part of the reason so many of these have quit.  

Now, you likely will be left with practicing deployment without traps working no matter what.  For TH10 that's going to crush them.  AND you should be able to use the "let infernos burn out trick" and it will work throughout the war.  

 
New matchmaking system certainly didn't do our opponent any favours. 
Searching for an arranged war in one minute. I'm expecting the first search fail since I tried to herd the cats here like 4 months back.  Not sure why these idiots think they can make this work.  They got some tip from Ash that they will be able to "know" when people are searching same time same makeup.

 
With a new update we need to list the hidden changes again! Here's what I know of so far, let me know if you find more:

-Air defense skins (all levels) updated
-Player info button next to experience bar updated
-BK and AQ altar skins updated
-Dark elixir is now included in the shop in cubical vials
-Army camp, torch, barracks (level 9), and dragon fire animations updated
-Archer death sound updated
-Valkyrie sound updated
-Spoils of War achievement renamed to Treasurer
-Pictures on info pages of structures updated
-Plus button removed from builder display after unlocking 5 builders
-Shield info page updated
-Visual appearance of tabs within menus updated
-Clan tag location moved
-Replay interface updated
-Locked clan perks have a new dotted line around them
-Heroes seem to no longer trigger traps (this is likely a bug)
-War attacks can be watched live at any point during the attack
-Remaining war attack icon updated
-Clan info icon color darkened
-Clan level search parameters widened to level 15
-Healer effectiveness on heroes may have been increased from 50% to 70% (this is a confirmed bug which will be fixed soon)
-Heroes now have noticeable space around them in the deployment bar
-Goblin level 6 upgrade time decreased from 10 days to 8 days
-Required troop deployment for granting shields lowered from 33% to 25% (speculation)
