Cleveland Game (1 Viewer)

Has this been done? Do we have any idea what they'll be doing in terms of resting? FBG's rankings seem to suggest they think they'll be playing pretty hard.

Also, does it matter that technically this game has playoff ramifications? Should Tennessee tie then this game becomes the decider. Obviously it's a huge improbability, but NFL coaches are the most conservative people on the planet it seems, and would rather avoid looking stupid than actually assess cost vs benefit for their team.

If Tennessee loses, Cleveland opens the playoffs next week, and Cleveland wont know the outcome of that game when they play. They were off last week vs. Cincy, and I highly doubt they want to go into the playoffs coming off of one stinker, and one game where the starters got pulled early - thats why I have them projected for a full game.

That's a pretty reasonable position, thanks for the quick response. I'm in a total points league that goes through Week 17, so I've been stressing about all this stuff.Anyway, I use your rankings heavily every week, excellent stuff this year.

I also think that since we know that Indy will most definitely rest their starters, this could easily be Cleveland's last game, so going for 10 wins is big. When they traded their 2008 first round pick for Quinn, almost everyone out there was predicting they would be one of the 5 worst teams, so going 10-6 would be a huge accomplishment and a big step forward for their team next year. Also, I think that the fact that it is a home game is also a factor. Look at the Giants tonight. They put it all out there even in a meaningless game at home and almost gave their fans one of their biggest wins ever.

Maybe I am also hoping that Derek Anderson and Braylon do well since I need them to in my championship game.
