I just read that too, one of the board admins who works with the team said hes in dallas.

imho this whole story was nothing more than a writer wanting a headline. Gibbs comments were blown out of proportion.

Anyone thinking Joe would bench Portis vs the Cowboys "just to teach him a lesson" is out of their mind.

Portis will play tommorrow, no doubt in my mind at all.

Anyone who drafted Portis after his injury knew this soap opera September was a possiblility. So is the chance he gets fully healthy and performs as a Top 5 RB the last 8, 10, or 12 games of the season. If you were reading the Shark Pool messages, don't say you weren't warned. Just for the fellow Portis owners -

im not sure how many of you actually HEARD what Gibbs had to say. I did. This is a case of a reporter directing the conversation and then running with something that really was in the way he asked the question. The end of the "If he doesn't practice...." quote that has appeared on many of these news services incomplete is when gibbs said, "Yeah, but I'm sure he will tell me he is ready to go on gameday"

This was just a reporter looking, from the moment he asked the question, to fabricate a story.

Portis will play and he should seee the ball 15-20 times IMO. Next week he should be at a full load.

Edit: If you listen to Parcells press conference he tells you in no uncertain terms he thinks Portis is playing too.
