Came across this thread in a search. Thought it was interesting to look back at pre-season projections. I post this not to point out that QuizGuy66 is not Nostradamus -- these predictions would have seemed pretty reasonable at the start of the season. Instead, I just wanted to point out how different the reality of this season has been from the projections.Of the 32 teams, with three games remaining only 13 have a chance to hit the predicted records exactly. I'd say only 5 or 6 of these outcomes is likely.

lol thanks for saving me the trouble of trying to find this :)

I'm sure the offers for football prognostication employment will be coming in by the boatload.

Go Jaguars!!

Congratulations to your Super Bowl XLIII Champions: The Jacksonville Jaguars!

LOL at how bad my picks were.

I correctly predicted the record of exactly 4 teams.

Combined, I was a total of 110 victories off of what the teams actually got in terms of win.

To emphasize how bad this is, if I had predicted everyone to be 8-8 I would have been only 84 victories off.

Heck if I had just given everyone the same record as they had last year I would have only been off by 103 victories.

I have to further congratulate myself for picking exactly 4 playoff teams out of 12, not to mention 1 out of the final 8 and 0 out of the final 4!

:excited:
