Cobb vs. Jones (1 Viewer)

Sooo, if Jennings plays and plays well in Week 13, I'm thinking Jones is all but irrelevant, and Cobb/Jordy fight it out for WR2 targets from Rodgers.

If Jennings has 4+ catches and gets 60+ yards, I think he's a solid WR2/risk reward WR1 on a FF team. I think Nelson comes in a solid WR2 in FF territory, and Cobb comes in around high end flex/low to mid WR2.

Very interested to see how the targets shift around in Week 13 before the FF playoffs start.

given all the positive buzz from the team and the coaching staff about cobb (he needs more touches; get him the ball more; design plays that suit him; he's like percy harvin; etc.), i suspect he'll suffer little with jennings return and jones becomes mr. irrelevant yet again...

CobbJones too inconsistent to ever be long term starter.
Has Cobb ever proven to be consistent? If he was so consistent he would probably already be starting, not Jones. So far we know Cobb is electric as a punt/kick returner. He had 24 catches last year. Where is the evidence that he is ready to assume a starting receiver role for this team?
Cobb will be the jack of all trades as lined up in Week 1. It really won't matter if Cobb is 'starting' or not. Cobb >>>> Jones. Not close. Cobb is going to see the ball a ton this year. Floor is 70 catches [i'm projecting mid 80's]. Your evidence will be when this season is complete and look at the stats. He's this year's NFL nightmare matchup that the opposition is going have fits trying to stop all year.
:goodposting:On pace for 84 catches. And again, it really doesn't matter if he's starting or not. The Pack will line him up anywhere to get the ball in his hands. He'fens the most electric weapon this offense has.Have a good season.
