Anthony Richardson wowed some folks with his athleticism which somehow convinced the Colts they could mold him into an NFL level starting qb even with his glaring weakness of inaccuracy as a trademark. Now, a few years later he's been beaten out of the starting gig by Danielle "Limp Biscuit" Jones. Shaduer Sanders, on the other hand, has a decent arm and at times showed a knack for reading the field and getting the ball where it needs to go but, he has warts such as holding the ball too long and thinking he is more athletic than he is while running around the backfield like a chicken with it's head cutoff leading to sacks. He is relegated to the bench behind the remains of Joe Flacco and also his rookie running mate Dillon Gabriel, perhaps even Kenny Pickett.(yuck)

So you have the opportunity to grab one of these guys and mold him into a lower/mid level starting NFL qb., think Danielle Jones, Trevor Lawrence type. Who do you want?

As for my stats- 58 years old, 5'11", currently 265lbs, a little doughy in the middle, can run a 10.4 second ten yard dash and have enough arm strength to heave the ball 20 yards one time with little to no accuracy. So I'm a project.

Richardson could still become a serviceable FF starter. I don't see him as ever being a serviceable NFL starter.

Sanders could be a serviceable NFL starter but I don't see him being a FF starter....more like a streaming option in a good matchup.

You want truth or echo chamber material.

Truth is neither will be a starting caliber NFL QB.
Poorly worded on my part, looking for which of the two might seem more attractive to the "We Can Fix Him" types even if they both suck and never make it as a pro.

AR can't stay on the field. I have zero faith Sanders is NFL caliber.

I don't either can be fixed. AR has never been able to hit the broad side of a barn and can't stay healthy.

Sanders to me is not NFL caliber long term.

Sure. But when AR is on the field he is a FF starting caliber QB.

Sanders has decent tools but needs a lot of work. I see glimpses of NFL ability but just not enough.....yet. I think he could become a good NFL backup and spot starter but the problem is ego and family probably won't let that happen without the circus that comes with him.

Most potential? Easily Anthony Richardson because of his physical tools.

Most likely to be serviceable? Shedeur Sanders I could see being a game manager, mediocre QB at best, and it's harder to see that type of floor with Richardson. Talking strictly as an NFL QB and not fantasy.

Not keen on either one amounting to anything in the NFL.

This is like asking me if I want diarrhea or constipation - is "neither" an option? I'm avoiding everyone mentioned in this thread, barring some kind of draft-day meltdown.

Anthony Richardson has more potential if you're thinking about who is more likely to have somebody say "we can fix him." Shedeur and family somehow became toxic to the NFL and A-Rich will always have some QB guru thinking if he can just get him to a fifty-five percent completion rate then it's gold all the way down. It's too tempting and the other one is a sulky diva. Forget a menace or a threat to authority—that guy is Toni Braxton.

ARich is only getting the benefit of the doubt because he was drafted so high. IND management is trying to will it to happen for him, but the fact is he has never been a QB at any level. All he has ever been is a tall RB who takes direct handoffs.
