I am wanting to do some trend analysis to verify/debunk a theory, first as it pertains to QBs. Is there a good site with collegiate stats year to year for old time players until recent? For some of the old time players, the NFL stats are rampant, but harder to find collegiate stats.

From about 2005 forward this is really easy.From 2004 back it's kinda tough, but you can do OK if you're willing to go Google diving several pages deep and really scan lots of different sources.Before the Internet era (1998/1999) it's just about a lost cause and until someone pulls this stuff together into a single site you're probably better off taking up bridge or yoga. Or inserting hot needles directly into your eyes.
