This here is exactly why Mendoza isn’t anything like Kirk Cousins as a prospect.
Two free rushers. Scrambles to his left and makes a toughhh off platform through. Genuine athlete.

All I've seen of him was the final Indiana drive and that was enough. This kid is for real.

It would be very surprising if either Tennessee or the Giants selected him, imo. I think Ward and Dart have shown enough to secure their positions.
It is not a guarantee that Mendoza is the QB1. He has a great arm and a high football IQ. He is not especially mobile, but nor is he just a statue. Mendoza is currently jockeying with Dante Moore and Ty Simpson to be QB1 in the class. (Some rumors suggest Moore will wait until 2027.)

I think Mendoza is QB1, followed by SImpson, then it's a big gap.

I would definitely include Dante Moore in that tier (unless you are assuming he is returning to school). Mendoza has the safest floor of the 3, but Moore has the highest ceiling.
