College WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State (1 Viewer)

Mike Renner
Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson is not only the best route-runner in the upcoming WR class, but he also will get after it in the run game

Hoping for a healthy season from Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson (#0). Downfield acceleration is fantastic. Kid can separate, and has upside as a three level threat as his route running develops.

Medicals are going to be his biggest question. Could be in play for WR1 if healthy.

You don’t love for the number 1 WR prospect to be a 4th year player but you can account for that with the year lost to the knee injury. Though that is also a red flag of its own but he seems to have fully recovered so as long as the medicals look good that shouldn’t matter.

Jordyn Tyson (8/126/2) again did WR1 things last night vs. TCU.

With his body fluidity and field awareness, Tyson is very skilled at creating pockets of space and plucking the football.

Jordyn Tyson will be a top 15 pick easily. Getting coached by Hines Ward who’s a HOF’er in his own right. Size, Speed, Length, Competes , Route Running and he’s QB friendly and he clearly loves the game.

Ian Cummings
Jordyn Tyson is an elite vertical threat, RAC threat, and a high-level route manipulator, and he still has this kind of body control and catch-point conversion skills.

Gonna be tough for him to be unseated as WR1.

Jordyn Tyson finishes with 8 catches, 126 yards and 2 TDs vs. TCU. His 7 receiving TDs are the most by an Arizona State player through 5 games of a season in the last 20 years.

Dating back to last season, Tyson has now caught a TD in 9 out of the last 10 games that he’s played in. Proving why he’s considered to be the top WR in the 2026 draft.

What we’re watching from Jordyn Tyson right now is insane. Easily the WR1 of the 2026 class. Let’s take a dive into the numbers

We’re talking about a player who has blossomed at Arizona State the last two years.

2024 75 receptions. 1,098 yards. 10 TDs (91 YPG)

But 2025 looks even better so far…
39 receptions. 483 yards. 7 TDs. (96 YPG)

Both seasons have catch percentages over 63% and has only fumbled the ball three times in two years. A monster at the catch point and he doesn’t turn the ball over.

2024 14.6 YPR
2025 12.4 YPR

A big play receiver who can win at all three levels.

51 first downs converted in 2024
27 first downs converted in 2025 so far

A consistent threat to move the chains for the Arizona State offense

Overall my number one player in 1QB formats

Number two in SF formats

1. Garrett Nussmeier
2. Jordyn Tyson
3. Jeremiah Love
4. LaNoris Sellers
5. Justice Haynes
6. Nicholas Singleton
7. Drew Allar
8. Makai Lemon
9. Fernando Mendoza
10. Carnell Tate

I felt very confident with Jordyn Tyson as WR1 heading into the year, which was partially due to how underwhelming the rest of the class was. But CFB WRs have developed at an unprecedented rate this year & the class has gone from mediocre to 2024-caliber (I have 11 in my top-50).

Despite seemingly every WR behind him having a breakout season, I think Tyson has maintained (or even extended) his lead. For such a polished WR with so few glaring weaknesses, I wasn't expecting a huge leap, but he's noticeably improved across the board.

Anything he was below average/avg at last year, he now does at a solid/good level.

- Play strength was a concern, but he gained 15 lbs & is still an easy mover
- Cut his drop rate from 8.5% to 2.5%
- Stops/comebacks have been his worst routes imo, but it was clearly a technique issue because he's cooking this year

He’s also built on his strengths & the good/great aspects of his game are now great/elite.
- Making ridiculous acrobatic plays/adjustments at the catch point weekly
- Even better salesmanship/timing as a route runner this year. Wins consistently on slants/digs/outs because he has a plan to attack every leverage/technique.
- Improved attn. to detail vs. zone. Really precise stems to disguise his route & disappear into the blind spot
- More juice after the catch this year
