**Colts at Titans**(+5, 43.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Feels like a trap game to me for Indy. I do think Taylor/Warren should get theirs, but I can't help but think Daniel Jones lays a bit of an egg now that opinion on him are changing.

I often on this board give a lot of pushback when people call players washed, when they are really just not as good as they once were, but are still really good (like Travis Kelce) having said that Xavien Howard is washed. If he gets matched up with either Ayomanor or Ridley 1-1, he's getting torched. Expecting more Ayomanor, who I actually had as a borderline top-5 WR in this class last spring. Like Tony Pollard a lot this week, in easily his easiest matchup of season, where he's been getting close to 90% snaps. Could be an RB1 this week.

I think the Titans win with a late FG.

The Titans are down Tvondre Sweat so Taylor will run a lot. He is not playing despite saying he wanted to. Coach said he's gotta put a practice in and denoted him out on injury report.

They're down JC Latham so the Colts will attack the right side of the OL and we'll have the 100th conversation about allowing too many sacks and Chig not being much help.

The Titans top CB an elite CB Jarvis Brownlee is questionable but the reporters were interviewing guys about replacing him so he seems out.

Snead sat with a new injury this week but says he's playing. We'll see if so and how much. He only played a half week one and looked gassed in second half week two.

CB Baker was excellent last year and Colts fans can lie they don't care. They do. They cut him and he only allowed like 600 yards on the year.

McCreary is a fine slot corner.
The Titans could still be ok and still show an excellent secondary but it's paper thin.

The Titans have a pro bowl safety, name old guy safeties, and a LB that used to be a safety. They CAN matchup well with Warren if things work out right. I expect the Colts to attack the CB depth. No need to go deep to Pierce or force it to Warren if they can do the simple stuff. Steichen also has a way of taking what's given all day long too. It's helped keep it simple for Jones thus far.

Ridley needs to play like the guy that was in sync with Ward all summer and actually fight for some passes too.

Ayo is all they've got right now and he only had 50ish yards last week.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Titans used a two TE offense with DMR and Gunnar. They're two of Cam's boys and significantly better blockers than Chig.

The Titans coach rose and is second favorite odds wise to be fired so the chances of this being a blowout and us saying "what is he doing" are pretty high.

Denard is the DC and a gem. He's who I want to replace Cally if so and he's excellent at using backups and making something out of nothing. Two games in and both opposing head coaches and QBs complimented the Titans D after each game saying how good they were or surprised how good etc. I don't think they're deep enough to overcome all those injuries so...on this coaching narrative, I've got the defense playing poorly in a blowout, Cally fired, and the defense suddenly impressive again next week when everyone's healthy.

Colts fans are fans of a rival. Their quotes of Cam or Pollard being a chump are certainly not the Colts feelings.

Cam Ward talk n praise from Colts players and staff carried over into "why isn't ARich like that" radio talk this week. Can we draft a franchise QB? Etc. I think these quotes this week (and maybe next matchup) someone should store away for the off-season. They could be quite pertinent and timely then. I suppose it depends on if Mr Jones stumbled thru the barrio or not, but...telling ya those are the quotes Colts fans will want.

Titans are apparently a public dog...but I still like them. Daniel Jones isn't this good and the Titans hung with the Rams for a few quarters.

#Titans inactives vs Colts

Jarvis Brownlee Jr
James Williams
JC Latham
Kevin Zeitler
Bryce Oliver
Kevin Winston Jr
Samuel Womack III

So Titans right side of OL is out.
I'd sit Cam
My 5000 discussions of whether a QB should play or sit rookie year....nope. Way too worried about the OL.

Coach won't. Just saying

Worried about Cam today
How many free shots will a rival get at him?

I don't think I've ever thought the Colts were dirty. I'm not saying that. Ya just ...it's the game. If they can smash into him they will

What was Chig doing? Block? No. Go? No? Ok I'll run a route.

Cam was totally looking like what the and then made a bad throw not seeing the corner lying in wait

Followup a good play with wasteful trickery.
Who says Callahan doesn't have a signature play

Callahan during every offseason- Chig needs to work on his blocking and really commit to it

Callahan during every game- let's send Chig in to help block

It's a shame they shut down Napster but Napster worked hours later.

I may be talking about something else

See Denard has 4-5 backups playing and we're intrigued by the defensive play. He's a heckuva coach

Cam either needs to shake Pollard's hand before every handoff or stop taking so long

Gunnar and Elic and DMR and...see..it's a different world when Cam has his boys with him

Maybe Levis was never good to begin with but I've often wondered the switch in HC had an effect on his development. Callahan is likely going to be fired, Though I think you can make the argument that the Titans just don't have the talent and it's not his fault but it's still hard to envision him not being fired in todays age. Should it happen I hope it doesn't affect Cam.

Whenever the announcers say "now would be a good time for the Titans to..."
They never do it
Not once

The Titans needed two timeouts worth of time to kick a field goal and then get a delay of game penalty
