Colts vs. Texans (1 Viewer)

As a Lions fan, its great watching Colts fan not get their wish constantly.

10 years of success with Peyton, then 1 down year and you think you deserve someone like Luck? Hopefully the Colts win next week and Indianapolis finds out what it feels like to be like the other 80% of the teams in the NFL that have rebuilding YEARS.

Although I think it's a joke Watt was penalized on this play, does he get credit for the sack and tackle? I'm playing against him this week. :)

3-5-IND31

(10:42) (Shotgun) D.Orlovsky sacked at IND 23 for -8 yards (J.Watt). PENALTY on HST-J.Watt, Roughing the Passer, 15 yards, enforced at IND 23.

Hou offense was averaging 28.3 ppg with Schaub, since he went down 17.2 ppg.
This team was clicking at Tampa, even without Andre...I like TJ Yates and think he's a good prospect, but you just can't substitute for Schaub's experience and mastery of the offense. I curse Bill Belichek for cutting Fat Albert right before we played Tampa. He's such a good coach he even knew how to sabotage a conference rival just by cutting a POS off his own team. Texans fans all know Haynesworth is Schaub kryptonite...

Colts still own the #1 pick...They lose @ Jax next week to seal the deal.
They stand a good chance to win that game.
I'm all for it...Jags don't need Luck in Indy any more than we do...besides, the NFL will assign Jerome Booger and his dogsh*t crew to that game anyway...can't have our boy Peyton and soon-to-be Face of the NFL Andrew Luck on the same team #####ing at each other...

I believe the penalty negates the play.
That's what I thought, but Watt is still getting credit for a sack and that's the only one I see on the PBP. Correction coming maybe?

There's going to be a wild card team feeling very confident heading to Houston in the first round of the playoffs. Would the existing Texans team win six games if they started the season today?

The franchise deserves a genuine pat on the back considering how hard they've worked to earn a playoff berth. But this just looks like the worst possible circumstance in which to get there. They have to play in front of their home crowd and try to keep up with whatever wild card shows up as the clear favorite.

Why is playing at home a bad thing? Keep in mind this team was without Wade Phillips, Andre Johnson, and RG Mike Briesel who will all return for the playoffs, and mostly lost this game by having far too conservative a gameplan and laughable officiating. It's certainly a frustrating loss as it most likely takes them out of bye contention but it poses no new concerns for the playoffs. We already knew Kareem Jackson sucked and we already knew this wasn't a high powered offense without Andre. I think the Steelers and Ravens have equal cause for concern the way they're playing.
