Comeback seasons (1 Viewer)

So I started off in one league 0 and 6 and then won 10 straight to finish the champion today. Anyone else have an experience like this, whether it was you or someone else in your league? I was baffled to lose 6 in a row with what I thought was a great team. Even more baffled to have a 100% turnaround and finish in first.

Same deal.

Went 1-4-1 to start season, won out for championship. Thought my team was better, and it was. Knew I needed to win out, didn't give up, made moves... cha ching.

Started 1-5, snuck into playoffs as wild card on a tie-break at 8-6, got two extra days of rest for ADP and brought home the championship by one point...

I never really made a comeback but I was lucky enough to win 2 titles after sneaking in to the playoffs with 6-7 records. Not great teams but I managed to play teams that scored worse on the day. Best team on the day I suppose.

Some will probly flame at this....but.....our league format is a bit different, as we don't have two divisions or use playoffs. We have 10 teams, standard scoring, head to head matchups each week. We split up the season into two different seasons. At the end of week 8 we payout the top 3 teams and then reset the standings. We then payout the top 3 teams for weeks 9-16.

Many years back, we had teams that started out slow lose interest and did a poor job managing their team. Splitting up the season like this can be motivation for those teams that are slow out of the gate.

Having said this....my team started 3-5 and ended up finishing 7-1. So this was certainly a comeback year for the Flying Hellfish.
