I keep getting a message that my pc needs to be repaired. Unmountable something or another. And, the loop just keeps going. Any fix to this issue, or is my hard drive fried? Thanks. I have tried getting into safe mode but no were does it say anything about safe mode booting. This is windows 8. 64 bit it that matters. I took out the battery and tried to reset the laptop that way, but that didn't work.

probably fried. You might be able to reformat/factory reset it, but I don't know that I'd trust the drive a great deal after that. I'd try bottign from a live Linux drive to recover important files before I tried anything though.
