Conducting an online auction? (1 Viewer)

Hi Folks,I had a reader ask this question and thought I'd throw it out for you guys to give him some feedback. Thanks.

Wondering if you're aware of any software out there that allows for running a fantasy (football) auction online with some customization - like being able to stop the auction and adjust rosters in the event of an issue or delay start time if there's a technical problem with someone being able to get online. We're aware of yahoo, etc but those seem too rigid. 12 team league undergoing some changes this season and we need the option of doing our auction online.

Not sure what he means by "too rigid" but ESPN gives offers the options he's referring to. If it's a case of not wanting to use ESPN for your league site, just set up a dummy league, run the auction, and put the results into another site.

That is how I usually see live auctions run...........they start on ESPN and the rosters are loaded on MFL. Espn lets you run the auction for free. Bad part (at least last year) was ESPN live drafts dont start until later June or July I believe. You can run an auction on MFL but they dont offer live ones at this time.

ESPN has a fantastic product. I have very high expectations for auction software, and ESPN met or beat them all. Would love to see what MFL does here - if they can come close to ESPN, we'll have a couple of great choices.
