My thoughts are:
1. Baltimore - Completely rested and motivated to shut the former Baltimore team down. (Don't think Baltimoreans / Baltimorons have forgotten about 1983 - they are still bitter around here). I think they will push for the shutout if they get their way.
2. Chicago - Weather would hope to be a factor for the Bears, but Seattle didn't scare many last week.
3. San Diego - Merriman wants to take out some frustrations on someone, and NE is good enough. SD will face a good team on Sunday, but they are skilled enough across the board to do well.
4. Seattle - Why #4 after Chicago is #2? Rex Grossman.
5. New England - No Rodney Harrison hurts, but if any unit can step up and deliver the turnovers / big plays that they need, it is BB's Pats.
6. Philadelphia - If Lito is out (likely) they can't be much higher, but they are pressuring well and getting turnovers. The Saints are coming, and they have tons of talent, but they can hang with them and could get a few key turnovers. Also, their goal line unit is playing at the highest level. Honorable mention - Westbrook returning punts.
7. Indianapolis - Great scheme last week, but overall they are giving up 22+ points a game. If the Ravens break 20, it could be game over.
8. New Orleans - Unimpressive all year, and buoyed by the hugely productive offense. Only upside is Reggie Bush running back kicks.
