Never paid this contest any attention until today. I'm targeting a late date for drafting. What happens if I register for a league that drafts on Sept 6th, but does not fill out to a full twelve teams?

You would get a refund of your entry fee - if there were available spots in other drafts they might just move you.There is slightly less than zero chance that draft won't fill (esp once they announce the new prize structure)
