I've been in several formats but I've never been in an IDP league. Considering starting one up. Ideas I have:
-ESPN league. ESPN has great gameday interface/live scoring and don't really want to pay for MFL (free league). Would keep track of trades via a shared Google Doc
-Startup would be an auction, but it is not a salary cap/contract league.
-Rough ideas for starting lineups:
1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 4 Flex//2 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB, 2 FLEX
8 starters on both OFF and DEF, so 16 total, so I'm thinking a 30 spot league with 2 IR.
-Rookie "draft" is actually an auction. You get money based on your finish last year. Money is tradeable.
-16 keepers. I know this might turn some off, but I think it would be best to keep "only" 16 players, or a full starting lineup. Separate FA draft that is also an auction.
-Standard WCOFF scoring, DEF scoring will probably be balanced.
