The person getting Cooper also has Derek Carr to pair with him. Both teams are contenders but the team getting Cooper had Julio and Dez and wanted 1 younger proven WR.

Cooper/Dez trade, Which Side? (1 Viewer)

This all hinges on what you think of Williams. If you think he will be a low end WR1/High end WR2 eventually then I can see making that deal to get the Dez/Williams side. However, if you don't think Williams will be anything more than a WR3/4 then I like the Cooper side.
I am not as high on Cooper as most so this is fairly close for me but I think I would still rather take Cooper. I have a lot of reservations about Williams which makes me hesitate to lean that side.

It's hard to evaluate the trade without knowing the rosters involved.
On the surface, I like getting the best player and that's Cooper by quite a bit. So I side with Cooper, both in the short and long term. I wouldn't accept Dez and Mike Williams if I were a Cooper owner. Dez is solid but he's older and his upside is capped due to a run first team. I am not convinced that Mike Williams will be a solid fantasy starter.
