Could Hackett be considered a near stud this week? (1 Viewer)

All indications are that he could have an outstanding week this week and is a rock-solid No. 3 and perhaps a No. 2 WR start.

Of course, all the cheatsheets and stuff have him ranked pretty low.

But considering he had nice weeks WITH Jackson on the field, it stands to reason he might be a terrific play this week vs. Frisco.

I agree. I would rank him a lot higher than he is coming in (currently 40's). I think he's a decent 3rd with D-Jax out and Burleson being the bust he's been. I would not be suprised to see Hackett haul in a half dozen catches nearing the century mark and a TD.

The hype is on - I have Hass and my playoff opponent just grabbed Hackett off the wire and is starting him against me in an offset effort.

I'm not worried!

Gusty winds + rain + Branch + Burleson + Engram + Alexander = not a stud

Im not saying he cant put up solid numbers but its a crapshoot what WR Hasslebeck throws to. Plus Alexander could have a huge game as well.

Good production with 8 catches for 87 yards with 13 targets (10 targets in the first half).

Was Hackett on the field in the 4th quarter? He didn't get any targets late when the Seahawks were in obvious passing downs.

How about the deep ball? Did he get any deep ball targets?

(edited to correct to 87 yards)

Hass's INT in the endzone was heading right into his chest

Seemed like Branch had more of the deeper targets, which is odd. all in all, he was on pace for a monster game and Hass inexplicably quit throwing to him in the 2nd half.

How do you guy's perceive Hackett's dynasty value. The Seattle WR corps is certainly crowded, but he's very quietly having a pretty productive second half. With Burleson sucking and Engram getting up there, is he the WR3 in Seattle?

He's currently in my top 50 WR, and could hit the top 35-40 if he produces like this for the remainder of the season. He's the WR3, and he'll be one of the best producing WR3's in the league. Not to mention, as we saw last night, he's one of the WR3s that is instant top 30 when he gets to start.I would not rule out the Seahawks trying to shop Djax to get this guy in the starting lineup.

Good call Bloom.I assume Hackett now becomes a prime buy low.
