Cowboys Camp (1 Viewer)

I'm planning on going Saturday and wonder if anyone else is going and if they have been before and what I should expect... any tips for this camp?

Thanks,

i went last year...

it is in oxnard, & generally cooler than many places in nearby LA because it is just a few minutes from beach...

drills & scrimmages take place on roughly two football fields side by side... a lot is going on, as they frequently break into positional drills, so it is hard to catch everything...

you can stand just past a fence by field, which is i think in direct sun, or back a few feet on covered bleachers... bring binocs if you have them...

they sometimes practice twice a day, sometimes once & go out of town for games, so check schedule beforehand (this sat should be fine)...

they have snack type food & drinks but not sure about something heavier, but plenty of resaraunts off the approaching ventura FWY, and in town in oxnard...

if bringing kids, there is activity area with circus like atmosphere, a cowboys history & memorabilia center, as well as merchandise selling area for shirts, caps & stuff like that (of course :) )...

if you stay at about a dozen local hotels, they have a special where you get camp kit (last year anyway... got bag, frisbee, water bottle with cowboys logo, other miscellaneous swag)...

have fun, i'll probably go, but closer to right before camp breaks...

if you want a TO autograph, bring a crayon... :)

DallasCowboys.com or any local paper will list it like Dallas Morning News or Star Telegram. Parcells is entertaining, try to get a view within earshot of him esp when a player goofs.
